One sign said this way, another says that way, go back, head forward, north, East, south, West. All kinds of different signs hung up on the trees with different directions and some just saying nonsense. Ace ignored most of the signs and just continued to follow the only path that the forest offered.

After a while a house came into view. Ace walked over to the fence and peeked over it. What seemed to be there was a tea party or something like that. With a person with a funny hat and a rabbit breastman, different from the white rabbit breastman, sharing tea. Well more like spilling half the tea.

Opening the gate and walking to the table without taking a seat. "Hello, can I join your tea party?" The person with the funny hat looked over at Ace with a big smile forming on their face. "Of course, my dear. As I always say the more the merrier." Then the rabbit spock. "How nice of you to ask before you intrude. Not everyone is as polite." Taking a seat a few away from the rabbit Ace said, "well rule 26 'you must ask permission to join a tea party as it is polite.' My housewarden would be pretty upset if he found out I didn't ask."

"Oh my, an Alice that knows the rules of Wonderland. No wonder the twins wouldn't shut up about you when they visited the other day." The person in the hat said, but noticing Ace freeze up they added, "oh don't worry dear. The twins rarely ever visit. By your reaction I'm sure you had a run in with them?" Scratching him arm Ace answer with a simple "yes."

"Hmm, I see, well then introduce are in order then. My name's Atlas but everyone calls me The Mad Hatter, all pronouns work, darling. This is my girlfriend Maple but people call her the March Here." "You can call me Alice, he/him and they/them pronouns work for me."

"How lovely, I understand that you don't want to give me your actual name, but did you just start calling yourself Alice because everyone was calling you that or is it for another reason?" "Not really, I mean it is my grandma's name."

"What a curious reason." Maple said pouring herself another cup of tea. "Very curious indeed, well Alice dear would you like some tea?" Atlas asked holding a tea cup out for Ace to take. Ace took the cup from their hand, "thank you."

Putting the cup to his lips Ace was about to take a slip then remember what Kester had told him. Faking a cough Ace brought the cup away from him. "This wouldn't happen to be chamomile tea?" A look of surprise came to both their faces. "Yes it is, why?" Atlas asked. "It's just that I normally throw up after I drink chamomile tea." "I see, then wait one moment I'll go get you something else." Atlas said getting up from her chair and walking into the house.

Ace head started to spin something was telling him he needed to leave, but how was he supposed to when Maple was here. Just at that moment the gate that Ace had first enter all slammed open and the white rabbit, kite ran in knocking in to the chair that Maple was sitting in. The two seemed to start arguing but Ac took the chance got up from his chair and as quickly as he could ran out the gate and further into the forest.

"Hmm, that one is a smart little Alice." Atlas said running his finger through her hair. "If kite haven't had run into me he would have hade the chance to leave." Maple said angrily stoping her foot. "My love, there's nothing we can do about it now, but I'm sure we'll meet them again very soon."
