I pulled back.

I smiled at her.

"We should get back to our seats," I said.

She nodded and pushed herself up.

I climbed out of bed and held out my hand for her, to help her up.

When we arrived back at my place, Livie seemed to be a little nervous.

"Hey. Everything is going to be okay. I promise," I said trying to appease her.

She smiled at me and nodded.

"Let's go," I said.

"Mr. Henderson, Ms. Lazos, it's so wonderful to have you back," she greeted us. "And oh my goodness," she said once her eyes landed on our sons.

"They look so much like you, Mr. Henderson."

I smiled proudly. "They do, don't they," I said smugly.

Livie simply chuckled and shook her head, while rolling her eyes at me.

"What are their names?" Gail asked.

"This one is Jarred, he's older by a minute and six seconds," I look to Livie. "Right?"

She nodded.

"And this right here, is Jaydan."

"What beautiful names for two handsome boys," she said.

"Well you two must be hungry. I've prepared some food for you. Let me take care of those boys while you two eat and get settled. Olivia, dear. It's good to have you back. I've missed you," Gail said.

"Thanks, Gail. I've missed you too."

Gail smiled. "Well now go on and freshen up. Let me get to know these two little munchkins," she said as she held out her arms for the boys.

The boys squealed and leaned themselves towards Gail.

"Alright. We'll be right down to eat what you've prepared for us," I said and took Livie's hands and led her up the stairs.

"Where will I be staying?" She asked.

"In my room," I said simply.

"But..."

"Livie, I promise I won't do anything you don't want me too. I'll be on my best behaviour. Scouts honour."

She chuckled. "You weren't a Boy Scout, so that doesn't count. I just don't think it's a good idea. It's just a month and then..."

"Livie, we've slept together before. Look, this is part of the whole getting to know each other and getting used to each other again, routine that we were talking about. I promise to stay on my side of the bed," I said.

She bit her lip and was obviously deep in thought about it, while I stood before hoping she agrees.

Then finally she sighed and said, "alright. But you better stay true to your words, mister!" She said while narrowing her eyes at me.

"Yes, ma'm," I said in mock salute.

She chuckled.

"Why don't you freshen up first and I'll just make a couple of calls."

She nodded. "Okay."

I watched her grab a few things from her bags before heading to the bathroom.

I pulled out my phone and contacted my lawyer to prepare a few things for me.

After giving instructions to my lawyer, I called my brother Ethan.
