Two moons ago, after a long row, we set sail for a new land.
This land is long, wide and beautiful. The air is fresh. Wooded hills stretch in all directions. The soil is fertile with cereals and many fruit trees.
We all disembarked here hoping for the long-awaited New World.
The people settled here. We've built huts and dug kivas to perform rituals.
Everyone is happy and hopes that we have finally found the end of our journey. Chosposi's belly is starting to round out. Perhaps our child will be born on this land?
