But still alive, still beautiful
Despite the decay around you
You attempt to thrive

That you're far away
But still holding on to this idea
That I'll be in your arms tonight
You convince yourself I'm there

How you lay yourself under dirt covers
But never actually lay down
Never resting, even while we sleep
You care so much
I think it's quite poetic
How you allow me mental freedom
Despite being fixed into one format
And how you're always the same
You're so unique
I think it's quite poetic
