Tonight was the night. Travis had planned to propose. Taylor and he had taken a much-needed vacation. He had just come off his third Super Bowl win, and Taylor had just completed the last of the Eras tour in Singapore.

They both had the busiest months, but finally, it was just them. They were on a secluded beach. The first couple of days, Taylor and Travis spent hours in bed. They only ever left the bed if one of them got hungry or to walk the beach. It was the most peace either had felt in a long time.

Travis had the ring for some time now. He knew it sounded crazy, but from the first date that they had, he knew she was the one. He had told his entire family that there was something different about her.

He couldn't help but gloat whenever someone mentioned her name. All of his cards were on the table. He felt they connected on a level, unlike anything he had ever felt. It was beautiful; she was beautiful, and falling in love with her was beautiful.

They had many conversations about marriage and kids. It was something they were both on the same page about. They shared many of the same values and knew their futures had each other in them. It was an emotional topic for both of them and even thinking about it made Travis emotional. They were lucky enough to find each other in this crazy world they live in.

Travis had planned everything out perfectly. Although he was extremely nervous, he was just as excited. He almost slipped up during their time on the beach. They had decided to jump in the water first and then relax after.

They held hands as they walked into the water. Travis stopped behind her. Taylor turned around quickly.

"Baby, what are you doing?"

"Just admiring the view," Travis could not help but stare at his girlfriend who was shaped beautifully.

Taylor couldn't help but blush. She had never felt more like herself than when being with Travis. He knew how to hype her up and make her feel all of the things.

She leaned into him and placed her hands on his chest.

"I love you, big guy."

"I love you too, girl. Hopefully one day I'll get to show you how much I love you. You're my entire world."  Travis felt himself start to tear up. He held it in, but Taylor noticed. She noticed everything.

She would never suspect anything though. That's just who Travis was; he was big, fast, and tough on the football field. But when it came to Taylor, he would melt at her knees. However, he could and would fight for her.

"Hey, you already do, baby," Taylor said while rubbing his face and pulling him into a hug. Travis hugged back as he collected himself.

They spent the rest of their time splashing in water and laughing like little kids. They then headed to the sand to lay out and dry. They stole kisses and touches from each other.

It was a beautiful afternoon that led them back to their room. Their swimwear now occupied the floor as they were tangled in the sheets.

"I wish this moment could last forever," Taylor said as she cuddled into Travis's side. He placed his arm around her.

"Forever is a long time, baby. You want me forever?" He knew the answer.

"I do," she said as she leaned up and kissed his cheek.

"Do you want me forever? I know I come with a lot of extra baggage," Taylor said with a small giggle.
