Chapter 12- Meeting Sarah Burton

Khadija's pov:

I am on my way to the boutique to meet Sarah and I just can't wait to meet her.

The boutique was awesome, so huge with so many pretty, beautiful fancy dresses. There were all kinds of dresses and designs.

"Hello, I'm here to see Ms.Sara, I have an appointment with her today" I said to the girl at the entrance

"Sure, here she is. Ms.Sara someone is here to see you" and she left us with her

"Hello, you must be Khadia, right?" she asked in her sweet voice

She looks even more pretty in real.

"It's Khadija" I corrected her

"Oh I'm sorry Khadija. Have a seat what would you like to have tea or coffee with English bread and doughnuts" she asked politely

"There's no need" I answered as I sat on the comfy sofa chair

"Oh please, I never let my guests leave without having something, so tea or coffee?" she repeated

"Actually I'm fasting, but mom would you like something?" I asked Mom, knowing she wasn't fasting

"I'll have coffee"she answered with a smile

We spoke for a while and she also gave me Kate's dress details and told me more about Kate, her likes and dislikes though I knew most of the things. Sarah is a very sweet and amazing person.

"So how would you like your dress to be?" She asked

"Simple & elegant" I answered

"How about, that I, design a similar dress like Kate's, you know the trail behind will be the same and everything else but the sleeves won't be of net but just around the wrist there will be a little bit of net. What do you think?" she asked

"That is an amazing idea and it sounds perfect." I exclaimed excitedly "What do you think mom?"

"Sounds good and I think I trust you more than my choice Ms.Sarah" she said looking at Ms.Sarah and Ms.Sara smiled at her

"So, do you think we should go ahead with this?" she asked

"Yes definitely but how much will it cost?" I asked

"£160,000." She answered

I looked at Mom and said, "Okay so when should I make the payment?" I asked

"The payment has been taken care by your husband already!" she replied

I felt the burning on my cheeks, when she said "- 'your husband' but well he is too fast.

"And he said you would like the heels too" she said

"Ummm...yes" I said

"So I will give you the replica of her shoes. Lace-covered satin pumps they cost £430" she said

"You mean her shoes replica?" I asked

"Yes, though they were sold out but we had an extra pair so I saved it for you" she laughed and answered

"Oh my god, thank you so much" and I hugged her

"You're welcome and the dress will be finished by two weeks and I will give you a call and the shoes will be given with them. Okay?" she asked

"Yes and thank you very much!" I thanked her

"It's okay dear! Enjoy your wedding" she said

"Umm, can you attend my wedding?" I asked "If it's possible?"

"I will see but I would love to." She said

I gave her the hall's address for the Valima and went back home and then I received an e-mail

A: I'm glad; you have met her and chosen your dress

K: Thank you for giving me this opportunity. I love her. I hope you like the dress

A: It's your choice, I will definitely like-correction "Love it" ;)

K: Thank you. I really hope you do like the dress and btw I invited her to our Valima

I noticed the change in my words, how the my, mine had changed to 'our'.

A: WOW !Fantastic

After telling my friends about the dress and shoes, I prayed Zuhr and took a nap

Adeel's pov:

Thank God, she has chosen her dress and Sarah Burton told me about their meeting. Alhamdulillah she liked it.

Just 3 more weeks for the wedding and then we will be an official couple Alhamdulillah.

I wanted Khadija to tell me about the dress, but she wanted it to be a surprise, so I didn't ask her again.

When I told Mariam and Mom about Khadija's meeting they were so happy and excited to meet her at Valima.

"I'm gonna be with her all the time" Mariam said

"And irritate her with your stupid talks?" I teased

"No, you know she will love me, Jealous bro" she answered

"Yeh right. I'm going out. Bye" I said

"Byee and get me a chocolate bar and vanilla ice cream" she said

"I'll see" I replied

"Please, if you don't I will call my sis-in-law, now!" she threatened

"Sure!" I answered

She grabbed her mobile and dialed her number

"Okay fine, I will get it" I said giving in

"Good brother" she said and I rolled my eyes.

Just as I was about to leave

"Adeel, are the wedding cards done?" dad asked appearing out of no-where

"Yes, they will be delivered tomorrow." I answered

"And please decide a cake with Khadija, for Valima" he said

"I will on Saturday" I replied

"Okay" he answered

And then I left to meet Hashim and Umar, my best friends.
