Chapter 27-I'm so Glad

Khadija's pov:

"No, I will do it, it's okay Mom" I said talking to my mother-in-law, who was arguing with me about no working

"But it's your first day" she said

"It's okay, pleaseee" I said and she gave in

"Okay"

"Now you go and sit, I will be there in 20 minutes" I said

After 20 minutes, I was done with my toasts, pancakes, French toast, cutting the fruits. I poured some orange juice and water in a jug from the bottle and set the table.

"Breakfast's ready" I said and everyone made their way to the kitchen

"You look so pretty" Maryam complimented. I was wearing a red dress with a black scarf tied loosely around my head, as no non-mahram were there and Ibrahim is a child.

"Thank you" I said and then Adeel entered wearing casual Pj's with a blue V-neck t-shirt with his hair styled and he looked dashing and hot

I eyed him and he smirked at me and kissed on my forehead which made me blush very hard.

Maryam elbowed me and I slapped her while all the others smiled.

I served them their breakfast

"The pancakes with strawberries and chocolate sauce are my fav" Ibrahim said

"MashaAllah the breakfast is really good" my parents-in-law said and Maryam nodded.

"Here is a gift for you" My mother-in-law said and handed me a box

It had gold bangles and a diamond ring.

"These bangles were given to me by my mother-in-law and now these belong to you and this ring is a gift from me and your father-in-law" she said

"Jazakallah. This means a lot" I said, their gift was very nice and I love it

"By the way, when are you going to leave?" my father-in-law asked Adeel

"Next week InshaAllah" he answered

"Where?" I asked confused

"It's a surprise" Adeel answered winking

"Ooh! I love surprises" Maryam said and I smiled

"It's not for you, it's for my wifey" Adeel said and he stood up and put his arms on my waist

"Move" I whispered

"What? You are my wife" he said and I struggled to get away from his grip

"We should leave" my father-in-law said and everyone stood up

"Adeeeeel" I whined "You all can stay" I said and they all smiled and left

Adeel smirked and gave me a kiss on my head again.

I smacked his arm

"Ouch!" he winced

I started doing the dishes and cleaning the kitchen while Adeel kept staring at me

After I finished my work, I went to pray Dhuhr while Adeel went to the masjid

My mother-in-law came after a while

"Dear, has your dress arrived for Walima?" she asked

"Yes, mom called me and she told me that it has arrived today" I answered

"Okay, I'm going to pray. Take some rest" she said and I smiled

A while later Maryam entered my room and we chatted about our favorite books, and movies and then Adeel arrived.

Adeel's pov:

The rest of the day passed with guests coming to meet us and now it was dinner time.

Khadija placed the food and I was surprised by the number of items she can prepare. There was biryani with salad, vegetable rice with chicken chili, lasagna, pasta.

"MashaAllah, I love your cooking" mom said and dad smiled

"Jazakallah Mom" Khadija answered. I love how she has started calling my parents mom and dad.

I'm so glad she is my wife.

After dinner Khadija bought chocolate cake with vanilla and caramel ice-cream

"OMGGGG!" Maryam squealed and Ibrahim hugged Khadija which she gladly returned

"This is too much" dad said

"No, it's not" she said

After serving everyone she served me

"I loved the food and I'm sure, this will be great too" I said

"Thank you" she said

"I can't have this" Mom said

"Yes you can she said" and started feeding my mom and dad .

"Me too" Ibrahim said

"Me three" Maryam said

"Okay okay" she said and did the same with them

"What about me?" I asked innocently and she turned pink

She came towards me and as she started moving the spoon in my mouth, her hand shivered. I grabbed her hand and put it in my mouth and then I took a spoonful of cake and ice cream and put it in her mouth.

"Let's head to sleep now, it's too late" Mom said and everyone stood up and made their ways to the room

Me and Khadija went together. After she went she started looking at the wardrobe

"What happened?" I asked

"Umm. I have no decent clothes, all my friends have put stupid clothes" she said

"You mean...oh i get it." I asked

"Yes" she answered looking down

I walked to her and said "It's okay, I'm your husband"

I took out a white dress for her and handed it over.

"No" she said

"It's okay" I said

And she changed, did her wudhu and came out and she looked, I shouldn't say but I'm her husband so yeh, she looked DAMN pretty and....

"You look, breathe taking" I said and she blushed

"Give me my shawl" she said

"No, you look pretty."I said

"Now, lemme change" I excused myself

After I changed, did wudhu, I walked out and she was sitting on the bed with blanket wrapped around her.

I sat beside her and looked at her

"What" she asked with her gaze down

"You are beautiful" I said as I held her face and she looked at me

I put my hand on her shoulder and she whimpered

I kissed on her cheek and the blanket slipped

I leaned in and asked "Khadija? You okay with this?". She nodded

And the rest of our night was magical.
