Chapter 43-My man

THIS CHAPTER IS DEDICATED TO @mariahussain1 and @ushna_maheen because these two are the reason behind this chapter and to @nura18A because she is somehow always the first to vote and comment. I love her<3 thank you so much. So this is for you all and I love you 3 and the rest of you all too obviously. :)AND I KNOW THIS AIN'T THE BEST CHAPTER. BUT I AM SO SORRY. I'M TOO BUSY WITH WORK. Khadija's POV:

I woke up and heard some noises around me but I couldn't open my eyes and I fell asleep again.

(20 mins later)

After what felt like hours, I tried opening my eyes

"She is waking up"

"Khadija" I heard Adeel's voice and I tried harder to open my eyes and I finally did but the bright light blinded me for a few seconds and then my vision was back and there stood Adeel with some doctor and 2 nurses.

I realized I was in a hospital and I panicked all of sudden, and then I remembered me falling down but Alhamdulillah my hijab and abaya were still on.

"How are you feeling?" Adeel asked concerned

"Alhamdulillah" I replied. Slight headache and body pain was still there but I felt better

"Mrs.Adeel, I must say you have to take care of yourself. You can't be careless about your health. And if you are a doctor then you should do that. Please make sure to have these prescribed medicines and have healthy food. Have lots of fruits and green vegetables. Okay?" the doctor said and I nodded at her while trying to hide my face from Adeel.

"Yes doctor" I answered and then we were told that I would be discharged after my drip would be removed.

Adeel's POV:

I hated to see her like this and finally after almost an hour, when she opened her eyes, I relaxed and my smile was back again.

The doctor told me that dizziness is caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure, which can happen after eating a big meal or standing up too quickly. I was informed that Khadija had Dysmenorrhea, the term for the painful cramps that may occur immediately before or during the menstrual period. Because of this she had the bloating, vomiting and I had no idea about this.

I felt so ashamed when the doctor informed me, because I should have been more careful but I guess I was too careless.

I sat beside her, held her hand and I felt her tense under my touch

"I'm so sorry. I should have told you..."Khadija started but I cut her off

"Yes. You should be sorry and you should have told me. I am your husband right? We shared everything?" I questioned and I felt her tense

"I'm so sorry...."

"You should be sorry for getting me worried but most importantly I'm sorry for not taking care of you properly and not understanding and getting your hints because I never faced a situation like this before Khadija" I said and Khadija moved forward and hugged me with one hand around me as her second hand had drip on it.

"Adeel you should not be sorry. Don't blame yourself. You have seriously have taken care of me a lot and made me eat a lot too" she said

"I should have told you about it and my condition but I was too..."

"Shy and nervous?" I competed and she nodded

"Then don't be, you can tell me anything, it's okay" I said and held her hand.

"Adeel, what exactly happened? I don't remember anything" Khadija asked

FLASHBACK:

"Assalamualikum warakh matullahi wabarakatuhu" I greeted

"Honey, how are you? I'm on my way, just 15 more minutes..." and then I heard a loud noise.

"Khadija? Khadija, can you hear me. HELLO?" I screamed into the phone and drove faster. Those 15 minutes turned out to be 5 minutes

I reached the hotel and walked as fast I could and when I reached there the door was half opened, I saw pieces of vase that shattered into pieces with Khadija, lifelessly on the floor. My heart was beating as fast as light and I could hear my heartbeat. It was then that had realized that I can't live without her.

"Khadija? Khadija?" I took her in my arms and tried waking her up and quickly took her to the hospital praying that all goes well.

Khadija's POV:

"I'm so sorry for causing so much of trouble. You must be so worried. By the way, you didn't inform at house right. They would get worried" I said worried

"Not yet" Adeel answered and I calmed down

"Don't inform them, they would get worried without any reason" Khadija said and Adeel smiled at me

"I love you" he said and I blushed and smiled at him

And right at that moment the nurse entered the room and Adeel moved away.

"Your IV will be removed right now and then after a check-up with the doctor, you can go home" the nurse informed and she removed my drip as we proceeded for the check up.

The check up was concluded with the doctor scolding me of being careless and how I didn't understand the importance of health while I am a doctor myself.

Adeel also kind of scolded me but I calmed him down by giving him a hug.

We sat in the car and on my way I saw Starbucks.

"Adeel?"

"Hmm?"

"Starbucks. Please?" I said and Adeel looked at me and shook his head

"Adeel, please. I'm going to give you two hugs" I tried to bribe him

"No" he refused

"Plus 1 kiss and that's final" I said and he looked at me suspiciously

"Promise" I said honestly

It's funny how I can bribe him with my hugs and kisses. This man...

"And if you are forgetting then let me remind you that I am a Princess plus a Queen, so I get to do whatever I want to. So now let me have Starbucks and I promise to have healthy food too. Okay?" I said and Adeel rolled his eyes at it

"Alright. Remember your words" Adeel said smirking

"I will Mister" I said confidently

"Alright then let's go Princess plus Queen" Adeel said and he came around to open my dorr while I pretended to hold up my abaya a little like my gown and walk and Adeel laughed at this.

I muttered Alhamdulillah and continued walking

No matter how many times I thank Allah for him, but it never seems enough. He has changed everything completely. He is my man.
