After a lot of recovery, I then head to the Archon's Shrine. I once looked at the Knothole Glade, Thunder was gone. He isn't killed, but he seemed like he's no longer welcomed here.
"I hope this thing works... you need to release the soul from the Mask and... well, your guess is as good as mine." Briar informs me. I then release the soul from the mask. "I've never seen anything like it. It's like it's using the soul to power itself."
"I can't believe this." Ayame gasps as she and her friends look at the Soul.
"Anyway, we've figured out the second inscription." Briar adds. "It says: "The Heroine". I can't think of anyone who fits the description better than Scarlet Robe, Suiren's mother. There's always me of course, but as you can see I'm still alive, and I plan to stay that way. You'll have to pay her tomb in Oakvale another visit. I know this won't be easy, but Scarlet was always one to make sacrifices, remember?"
"Scarlet was dead because of Jack. We'll make sure we avenge her. Someone, or something, is ruining the graveyard, I can feel it." I nod. "You know, Briar's right. I know this won't be easy, but we have to go to Oakvale again. Let's go ahead and avenge her. Ayame, Sakura, Suiren, Yuri... go with me. Suiren needs comfort. And Briar, go find what the third one is." I order while I teleport my friends with me.
As soon as we get to Oakvale, we got taunted by Jack.
"Aw, poor Scarlet... hasn't she suffered enough? Would you really do that to your own mother? Take Briar, she is a no-use to anyone."
"Jack?!" I yell. "As soon as I got Scarlet's soul, we will avenge her! No taunts of you can stop us!"
"Something tells me there's going to be a lot of... ScReAmInG~!" And then Jack does an evil laugh. Though... that doesn't stop us!
"Don't stop will you? Mother needs help!" I call out. Rushing to the graveyard, we see a lot of screamers. "Ayame, Sakura, Yuri... stay here. This is family business." I hold Suiren's hand and head to Scarlet Robe.
"I know what you seek son... and friend... but Jack has sent a legion of Screamers to torment my soul. They won't allow me to leave. And now they will try to take you too." Scarlet cries out to us. She really is in trouble.
"MOTHER!!" I scream as I fight the screamers with all I have. Suiren fights too... and we had to defeat about 50 screamers. Or was it 25? No... that's lower. 100? That's too much screaming. But no matter the amount of screamers, we defeated them all.
"Jack's spirit is strong, and his new form is almost ready. But I sense how he fears you. Take my soul, and avenge my family once for all." Scarlet says her final words to us.
"Mama!!" Suiren yells their final words to mother before they take her soul and put it onto Jack' mask.
"She won't forget your kindness." I smile as I hug them.
"We translated the signs of the third inscription. Come back to the Shrine and I'll show you." Briar calls in our seal. We nod as we teleport back to the shrine.
