As the sun went down, the sky transformed into a breathtaking palette of warm hues. The sunset became visible, which meant that soon, it would be blue hour.

It was becoming evening. As this was happening, we were lucky to have almost reached the cafeteria.

We had occurred a few problems though, such as zombies being extremely close to us. Since they weren't close to me or the people next to me, I can't really say 'us.'

But they were close to the people who were running behind. The zombies were just 12 inches (ca. 30 cm) away from Tzuyu, Felix, the old lady, and Hyunjin.

They had a difficult time keeping up because the old lady who was wearing a t-shirt fell while running and scratched her elbow.

She was almost left behind. The zombies were so close that they might have even touched her. They were that close.

Thankfully, they helped her out, and we made it to the cafeteria in one piece.

As we arrived, the first thing that came on our minds was food.

We immediately started looking for food like animals. And that evening must've been our lucky day, since we easily had found plenty of food.

While we were eating, we had set aside some food in case we needed it later.

"음식이 너무 맛있어요, 심지어 하루 전의 음식인데도. [The food is so good, even though it is from a day ago]", these were the words that came from Jeongin. Deep down, in our thoughts, everyone agreed with him.

The current situation.

"오늘 너무 피곤했어요, 무사히 잘 살아남아서 기뻐요. [Today was so tiring, I'm happy we survived the day safely.]", Bang Chan, exclaimed next to me.

After talking about various topics, Yeong-hwa just straight-up asked me something out of the blue.

"효리 씨는 실제로 무슨 일을 하세요? [What do you actually do for a living, Hyo-Ri]", Yeong-hwa randomly blurted out.

I lifted my head to look at him. Perhaps I hadn't expected this sudden question about my life.

"저는 의사가 될 수 있도록 공부를 하는데, 영화 씨는 무슨 일을 하세요? [I study so I can become a doctor, what about you Yeong-hwa, what do you do for a living]" I asked him out of curiosity.

As Yeong-hwa's answer was laying on the tip of his tongue, he got interrupted by Bang Chan. "그는 서울대학교에서 영어를 공부하고 있다. [He's studying English at the university of Seoul]", Bang Chan abruptly gave me a response to my question.

"진짜?! [Really]", I beamed and locked eyes with Yeong-hwa.

Yeong-hwa nodded to clarify that he was indeed studying English at Seoul's university.

It was cool to find out he was studying it, and even cooler that we both went to the same university. That's why I started smiling from ear to ear.

"근데, 나는 이미 호주에서 자랐기 때문에 이미 영어를 할 수 있습니다. [By the way, I can already speak English because I grew up in Australia]", I informed Yeong-hwa since I had never told him before.

"영화 씨가 호주에서 온 거 알고 계셨어요? [Yeong-hwa did you even know that she's from Australia]", Bang Chan questioned him, like they were in some competition or whatever.

These guys would literally compete for absolutely nothing.

While everyone was chattering away, I couldn't help but wonder how my bestie was holding up, or if she was even alive.

From what I knew, Taeyeon, Lee Know, Bang Chan and Hyunjin had their phones with them. But that didn't matter because I didn't remember her number.

I had to know if she was alright; I wanted to give her a call with my phone. It was very obvious that we had to go back to the dorm, since I left my phone there.

Because of my thoughts, I couldn't help but be worried. I thought I could stop or at least lessen my worrying by drawing attention to myself.

So, I suggested leaving JYP Entertainment and returning to the boy band's dorm. Because it was much safer there compared to this building.

When I recommended it, lots of people commented. Some said they'd rather stay in this zombie-filled building since it's easier, while others wanted to go to the dorm where there wouldn't be any zombies.

As a result, we had a voting session where we split the room in two. If you wanted to stay inside, you had to be on the left side, and if you wanted to go to the dorm, the right side was for you.

You had five minutes to figure out where to stand.

Just when we were trying to decide where to stand, some weird noises started coming from behind me.

Noises such as teeth that started to clench, and groans that were getting louder by seconds. I turned around to see the old lady acting up.

"할머니, 괜찮으세요? [Grandmother, are you alright]", Tzuyu quaked. Everyone's attention turned to the elderly woman.

To my surprise, there actually was something wrong with the lady. I realized that because of the next words that escaped her lips.

"달려! [Run]" the old lady demanded.

"아니, 할머니, 당신을 떠날 수 없어요! [No, grandma, I can't leave you]" Tzuyu quavered this time. Her voice started getting weak and shaky.

"我愛你. [I love you]", those were the last words we heard of the lady.

Her life had come to an end, and there was nothing we could do for her, except for living on and escaping this unimaginable fucking hell.
