Telepathy

After hours of just shopping with Della and writing and trying to understand that I can never go home, Sophie finally came down. As soon as I saw her I ran and hugged her. Then I started shaking her and talking to her with my eyes. Which made her laugh so I see that as a win in my book.

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to sleep that long! Haha sorry you had such a hard time communicating with them. But you could have come and gotten me. NO! Don't look at me like that! I don't care if you didn't know where I was! You could have asked Della!" Sophie looked like she was talking to herself but she was answering me, it was almost like she was reading my mind. Maybe she was. And I, being the amazing sister I am, tried to read hers too.

I froze. I never expected to get through. Her head was like a mess of different thoughts and memories. I think she felt me in her head cause she froze too. We just looked at each other in wonder. Can you hear me? I almost fell back when she said that, or well thought that. But I didn't because she was holding my arms. I can, can you hear me? When she nodded we both started smiling like idiots. We decided not to tell anyone and just continued what we were doing. Soon Sophie was dragged away by Della to see what all we got and I was dragged to the couch by Ritz. I know his name is actually just like Ritz better. He hated it but I didn't care. He wanted to ask something about the book I had in my bag that I let him read. As we were talking or writing, Alden or older Ritz came down with both mine and Sophie's things.

I knew it was because we were going to our new house today but Sophie looked kind of hurt when he said we had to leave. Seeing this I got up and grabbed her hand squeezing it to help comfort her.

And so hand in hand we got our stuff and were whisked away to go meet our new parents.
