AUTHOR'S POV-

Jungkook's brow furrowed as he stared intently at the screen displaying the financial analyst area of the building. Despite the hustle and bustle of the office around him, his attention was focused solely on one person – Tae.

But to his dismay, Tae was nowhere to be seen. Ten minutes had already passed since the time Jungkook had instructed Tae to arrive at the office, yet there was no sign of him. Jungkook's frown deepened as he scanned the screen, searching for any trace of Tae's familiar figure.

As the minutes ticked by, Jungkook's impatience grew. Where could Tae be? Had he forgotten about their meeting? Or was he deliberately testing Jungkook's patience?

Annoyance gnawed at Jungkook's insides as he tapped his foot impatiently, his eyes darting back and forth between the screen and the clock. He couldn't shake the feeling of frustration that welled up inside him.

In Tae's home, a familiar scene unfolded as he bickered with his mother about why he hadn't been woken up on time. His frustration was evident as he pointed accusingly at his mother, insisting that he hadn't tried hard enough to rouse him from his slumber. But his mom merely shook his head in exasperation, his lips curved in a wry smile.

"Tae, my dear, I tried waking you up multiple times, but you were in such a deep sleep that nothing seemed to rouse you''...he explained patiently, his tone tinged with amusement. Tae scowled, refusing to accept his mother's explanation.

"That's not true! You must not have tried hard enough''.. he insisted stubbornly, crossing his arms over his chest in defiance.

"Believe me, Tae, I tried everything – from gentle nudges to loud calls – but you were completely unresponsive''...he reassured him, placing a comforting hand on his shoulder.

Tae's scowl deepened, but a small part of him couldn't help but acknowledge the truth in his mother's words. Perhaps he had been a bit too eager to blame his for his tardiness. With a resigned sigh, Tae relented, realizing that there was no point in arguing further.

"Fine, Mom, I believe you, But next time, please try even harder to wake me up. I can't afford to be late on my first day of work!"...he conceded, a sheepish smile tugging at the corners of his lips

"Of course, Tae. I'll make sure to give you an extra loud hit with my favourite spatula as wake-up call tomorrow''...he promised, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

''That's better''...tae said

And as they shared a laugh over their morning squabble, Tae couldn't help but feel grateful for his mother's unwavering love and support, even in the midst of their playful arguments. With him by his side, he knew he could face whatever challenges the day ahead might bring.

As Tae hastily tied his shoelaces, his mother hovered nearby, expertly maneuvering a sandwich towards his mouth with each deft movement of her hand. Between bites, Tae managed to flash his mother a grateful smile, his cheeks bulging with food. With a quick peck on his mother's cheek, Tae darted towards the door, his heart filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"Thanks, Mom! Love you!"... he called out over his shoulder, before disappearing out into the crisp morning air.

Outside, he spotted his father sprawled out on the couch, his snores filling the room with a rhythmic melody. Tae couldn't help but chuckle at the sight, shaking his head fondly as he made his way past.

"Good morning, Dad''... he called out with a grin, knowing full well that his father was unlikely to hear him over the sound of his own snoring.

With a final wave to his sleeping father, Tae dashed out the door, eager to start his first day at work. As he raced down the street, the morning sun casting a warm glow over everything it touched, Tae couldn't shake the feeling of excitement bubbling up inside him.
