Next day in the quiet of the office, the afternoon sunlight filtered through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room. Tae, exhausted from a long day of work, had succumbed to sleep while sitting in his chair. His head drooped slightly, and his breathing was steady as he drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

Jungkook, observing Tae from across the room, couldn't help but feel a surge of fondness for the sleeping figure. With a soft smile playing on his lips, he approached Tae's desk, careful not to disturb his rest. Leaning against the edge of the desk, Jungkook watched Tae with affectionate eyes.

"Tae''l,. he whispered softly, his voice gentle as he reached out to brush a stray lock of hair away from Tae's forehead.

Tae stirred slightly at the sound of Jungkook's voice, his brows furrowing in a sleepy expression. Slowly, he blinked his eyes open, adjusting to the light as he focused on Jungkook's face.

"Mmm... Jungkook?"... Tae murmured, his voice laced with drowsiness.

"Yeah, it's me, You fell asleep at your desk again, you know''...Jungkook replied, his smile widening

Tae's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he realized his predicament, but Jungkook's teasing tone softened the moment.

"Don't worry, it's been a busy day," Jungkook reassured him, a playful twinkle in his eyes.

Tae nodded sleepily, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. With a contented sigh, he settled back into his chair, feeling oddly comforted by Jungkook's presence.

"You should go home and get some rest, We have that party to attend in the evening, remember?"...Jungkook suggested, his voice gentle..

"Oh, right. I forgot about that''....Tae rubbed his eyes, trying to shake off the remnants of sleep.

'' I'll head home and take a quick nap, or i would be dozing off at the party''....said tae yawning

''Alright, see you at 5 pm then, be ready I will pick you up''...Jungkook couldn't help but chuckle at Tae's enthusiasm.

"Okay''... Tae replied, returning the smile. With that, he gathered his things and prepared to leave, feeling grateful for Jungkook's concern. As he made his way out of the office, he couldn't help but look forward to the evening ahead, knowing that it would be a memorable one with Jungkook by his side.

Jungkook watched Tae leave with a fond smile, his gaze lingering until Tae disappeared around the corner. As he turned back to his work, Jungkook couldn't shake off the sense of contentment that filled him, knowing that he would see Tae again soon.

Tae reached home and headed straight to his room, not spotting his mom around. Assuming he must be at the restaurant, he didn't bother searching for him and instead settled in. Setting seven alarms, he made sure to cover all bases in case he overslept. Drifting into a deep slumber, he hoped the alarms would ensure he woke up on time.

With a start, Tae finally woke up, startled to see the time past 4 pm. Panic surged through him as he realized he didn't have much time left, and Jungkook would be arriving at 5. Hastily, he rushed to the bathroom for a quick shower, hoping to freshen up as fast as possible.

After his hurried shower, Tae walked out of the bathroom and opened his cupboard, only to let out a frustrated sigh. He stood there, staring at his clothes, realizing he had no idea what he would wear for the party. He smacked himself lightly on the forehead, cursing his lack of preparation.
