Chapter 4: Team 10 Part 1: Introduction

Asuma led his team to a park to have them feel around something that would make them more comfortable. They all sat down on the ground with the four facing Asuma, and Asuma was facing them. "Alright, troops, we're going to do an introduction. Who would like to go first?." he asked as he looked at his future students, but Ino stuck her hand up. "Yes, Miss Gushiken," he said, waiting for Ino to say something. "Could you give us an example, sensei?." she asked nicely as Asuma lit a cigarette. "Sure, I don't see the harm in it with an example," he said. Then he looked at them, seeing that they were paying attention, but Naruto put his hand up before Asuma would start. "Yes, Naruto." Asuma said, a bit curious about Naruto's question "Sensei, Why am I placed on your team? I'm not complaining or anything. I'm just curious." he said as he waited for Asuma to answer. "I shall tell you after the introduction, okay," he said, and Naruto nodded his head, and then Asuma cleared his throat. "My name is Asuma Sarutobi. My Likes are smoking, training, and my family. My dislikes are rebellious students, traitors, and a book series that shall not be named in this team." he cleared his throat once more. "My hobbies are smoking, bugging my Father from time to time, and relaxing during my day off. My goal is almost complete, but that all depends on whether your lot will pass," he said, then turned to Ino. "Your turn, Ino." he said as he and his team waited for her to answer, "My name is Ino Gushiken. My likes are Bush Clovers, my new family, and a certain someone." her eyes looked over to Naruto and trying not to blush "My dislikes are a certain someone, traitors, and liars. My hobbies are gardening, training, and spending time with my new family. My goal is to settle down with a certain someone someday," she said as she looked over at Naruto. A faded shade of pink appears on her cheeks as she wants to keep her feelings for herself until she's very confident that Naruto could like her back and maybe more.

"That was a very nice introduction, Ino," Asuma said as he noticed her gaze was on Naruto, but Ino was glad that no one else was picking up who she liked except for Asuma. Then he turned to Choji. "Okay, it's your turn," he said as Choji finished the chips in his mouth. "My name is Choji Akimichi. My likes are mostly eating. My dislikes are not finishing what's put in front of me. My hobbies are eating and eating with my family. My goal is to be like my Father," he said as he returned to munching on some chips while Asuma nodded. He turned to Shikamaru, "This is troublesome. My name is Shikamaru Nana. My likes are cloud watching and Shogi. My dislikes... I don't have any so far. My hobby is just cloud watching. My goal... I don't have one yet," he said as he just lay on his back to the ground and watching the clouds leaving the others a little dumbfounded then Asuma finally turned to Naruto as do Ino and Choji as they wait to hear Naruto's intro. "My name is Naruto Gushiken. My likes are Ramen, My family, training, and um... I like a girl." he started as Asuma and Choji both smirked and had a neon sign on their foreheads, saying 'Tease Mode'. At the same time, Ino eyes widened a bit and remained calm and happy. Still, her inner self is screaming at the top of her lungs, "My hobbies are training, spending time with my family, and Ramen. My goal is to confess to the certain girl, settle down and have a family, and become Hokage," he said as Ino's inner self is holding a chainsaw and still screaming while Asuma nodded then he spoke up. "Now, about your question, Naruto, my Father thought it would be best if you were trained under me and had proper training. He felt you wouldn't get proper training from some of the other Jonin... Well, apart from Rin anyway," he said as Naruto nodded. His gaze went over to Ino, and a faded shade of pink appeared on his cheeks, making Asuma smirk more and finally put the pieces together that Ino and Naruto had feelings for each other.

Asuma stood up and had his hands on his hips. "Alright, team. As much as the other Jonin have their way of training, I have mine," he started as Team 10 stood up and waited for Asuma to finish. "We are going on a training tip. We'll be using my family's log cabin. I will be training you all from there." he said as his team seemed happy and excited to take part to see if they'll pass as a team, "So I want you all to meet me tomorrow at the main gains at nine am, that is enough time for you all to pack up about a month of clothes for yourselves and some other items you wish to take with you." he said as he looked at each member, "Now you got the rest of the day so, so do as you please and please don't be late tomorrow, I will not wait any more than a minute." he said as the team all nodded together then Asuma Shunshine away leaving the four of them together. Ino devised a plan, but she also wanted to say something. "Ahem," she started as her teammates and brother looked at her. "I'm calling Team Leader whenever Asuma-sensei is unavailable... No argument, but I'd say we all hang out together and get to know each other better," she said with a sly smirk across her lips as the trio were a bit annoyed that Ino would call shots on being a team. "As much we would have disagreed, sis, but okay... You're Team Leader." Naruto started as he, Shikamaru, and Choji sighed and hunched over, but they straightened back up. "Okay, fearless "leader", what's the plan," Shikamaru said as Ino was slightly annoyed by his playful sarcasm. "We're going to my family's favourite restaurant," Ino said. Naruto smiled while Shikamaru and Choji were worried they might not like it. Without thinking, Ino grabbed Naruto's hand and started leading the team to the restaurant where she wanted to take her newly formed team. While walking there, Naruto blushed while Shikamaru and Choji giggled in the restaurant. Both Shikamaru and Choji were surprised, mostly Choji. "Ooo... I heard about this place." he said as Team 10 stared at the newly opened restaurant called 'LoongJade'. It had been open for over a month and became one of Konoha's most famous restaurants.
