A week has passed since both teams had their adventure against bandits and have met the Joro Spider. Things calmed down for the Senju family until a month later. That peace was shattered by the announcement of the Third Shinobi War, which caused chaos and panic within the villages around the shinobi world. Then, preparations were being made on either side of the villages as they wanted to be the ones who changed the outcome of this war. Four years later, into the war. Minato and Kushina got married two years prior, and Kushina is currently pregnant with their unborn son. Leaf Shinobi were on the break of trying to win this war as they were slowly losing, but Hiruzen had sent Team Minato to a bridge at Kusagakure that was key to try and turn the tide of this war. On the trail there, as it took the team a week to get there, Team Minato was walking on a long trip to Kusagakure, where the team had Konan with them, who was replacing the team's spot after Kakashi's betrayal on the team. "Aunt Konan, are we there yet?" Rin said as she was getting a piggyback ride on Konan's back. Konan was slightly annoyed by Rin as she looked over her left shoulder while walking. "It wasn't funny for the one-hundred and thirty-sixth time," Konan said as Rin giggled. She only wanted a small reaction out of her, and she leaned her head against Konan's back. "Sorry, Aunt Konan. Just wanted a reaction out of you," Rin said as she giggled again, but she kept her eyes open for her. "You're lucky I still find you adorable," Konan said as she giggled with Rin while Minato and Obito were annoyed that Rin said it too many times. Then, after a few more hours. Minato stopped and looked around the ground, then looked back at his team. "Okay! This is our last camping spot before our last stretch to the bridge tomorrow," Minato said. This was music to Konan's ears as she planked herself to the ground, and Rin was worried for her as she used herself as Konan's support. "You okay, Aunt Konan?" Rin asked as she sat on her knees and leaned her right side against Konan's back. Then, she pulled out a bottle of water and passed it to Konan, who took it and started drinking the water. "I'm fine, Rin. Thank you for asking," Konan said as she leaned the back of her head against Rin's head for comfort and to catch her breath. Minato and Obito were busy setting up the tents, and then Minato looked over at Konan and Rin. "Rin, could you come over and help us? I'm sure Konan will be fine," Minato said. Rin looked over and smiled. "Okay, Dad!" Rin said as she gently sat Konan upright, and then she left her side to help the others. Minato made a Shadow Clone that appeared next to Konan and looked after her for a bit.

Rin came over to her father and Obito and started to help them set up the tents and other items to set up. "How are you two holding up with this war?" Minato asked, as he was concerned for his family and team's well-being. Obito stopped what he was doing and looked at Minato. "Alright, I guess. It doesn't help that I get too many fan girls when I'm trying to train. Even girls from my clan are trying to get a piece of me," Obito said as he pouted and went back to setting up the campfire. Rin and Minato couldn't help but giggle and chuckle. "Well... You got nobody but yourself to blame for all the kind deeds you've done over the years in the village and for saving people's lives during that small invasion last year," Minato said as Rin nodded in agreement with her father. Obito blushed and couldn't help but feel like they were right. He vowed to take down Kakashi one day and would continue to protect those in need. After an hour of setting things up, Konan rejoined her team after a good half an hour's rest and was happy to help out. "Do you think getting rid of this bridge will help us with the war, Minato?" Konan asked as Rin and Obito were starting the campfire and were going to cook their dinner for them. Then, Minato spoke up. "Yes, I believe this bridge will give us the edge in this war. But we need to get to it first," Minato said as he just finished putting up the last tent. Konan felt worried and also felt something might go wrong. "I believe you, Minato. But I have this feeling that something might go wrong or something will go wrong," Konan said as she felt worried for her family and team. Minato put his hands on his hips and looked at Konan with a worried expression. "I understand how you feel, Konan. But once this bridge is dealt with. We can head back home, and I'll see if you can take a break. You've done a lot in this war," Minato said. Konan nodded, and then she went around their camp and put up a sealed barrier to keep them alert during the night. Then, Obito spoke up to Rin. "So... What do you have plans for your future, Rin?" Obito asked as he was curious about what Rin was going to do for her path and future. Rin was fixing up some Roman, and she stopped for a few seconds. She had the end of the cooking chopsticks on her chin and looked up at the sky. "Hmm..." Rin started as she looked away from the sky and looked at Obito from her left shoulder. "I'm not too sure, Obito. But I don't have my eyes on anyone. Not when this war is going on," Rin said as Obito nodded to her words. He had too many girls after him and was not sure which one would steal his heart.
