Half an hour later. Both teams were waiting for their senseis, but while they waited. Rin and Anko were chatting with each other, and they were curious about what their senses would be teaching them. Obito was busy chatting with Gekko and Hinari as he was curious about them, while Kakashi wasn't that bothered and just read a book while waiting for his team sensei. A minute later. The door to the classroom opened, and Minato and Kushina went to the front of the class. Then, Aiko looked up from her book and noticed the two. "Welcome, Lord Forth and Lady Senju," Aiko said, greeting the two. Minato and Kushina looked over to Aiko, and then they smiled and nodded, then they looked back at the two teams. "Okay! Team 7, meet me on the roof," Minato said. Then he Sunshine away. Then, Team 7 got up from their seats and ran out of the room to head for the roof, and then Kushina spoke up. "Okay, Team 8! Please follow me," Kushina said with a smile. Her team got up from their seats, and Anko grabbed her trenchcoat, and then the team followed Kushina out of the room, where they were also greeted by Ina, who was part of Team 8 and was Kushina's choice as the team's backup leader. Then, Kushina slightly nodded at Ina, and Ina nodded back as she leaned off the wall and followed her new team. Once Kushina has her team with her, she leads them to a park where she believes the park would help ease their minds and help her understand her new team more. Then, they stopped at a set-up picnic by Kushina and Ina while their team was confused about this set-up and looked up from the picnic and looked at their senseis with puzzled expressions. But Anko had her eyes on a plate of Dango as her mouth hung open and started to drool, and then Kushina and Ina noticed this and both giggled at her. "Okay, you three, let's sit down and get to know each other better," Kushina said in her sweet, motherly-like voice. The team nodded and sat down on the ground while Anko helped herself to the Dango, and then Ina cleared her throat, trying to get Anko's attention. "Please don't eat all of those. Leave some for the others," Ina asked. Anko shook her head and went back to eating. Kushina giggled and took them away from Anko, who was now upset. She crossed her arms and gazed at the ground, causing the others to laugh, but Kushina rubbed Anko's back. "Don't be like that, Anko! There's plenty more where that comes from, but for now, I wish to know my first team," Kushina said. Anko looked up at her and couldn't help but feel some connection between them, as Anko never felt this care before. Kushina then leaned away and looked at her team. "Okay! Who would like to tell me your names, likes, dislikes, goals and dreams?" Kushina asked as she waited to see who would go first.
Then Anko raised her hand since her teammates didn't make any effort to speak up for their senseis. "I'll go first, Sensei! But then you and Ina-sensei go after me!" Anko said and giggled, catching Ina off guard as Ina knew Anko too well to know she tried to get to know Ina better, and then Kushina smiled and nodded at Anko. "Okay, Anko, when you're ready," Kushina said as she waited for Anko to speak. Anko sat up straight and smiled. "My name is Anko Mitarashi! I like training and making friends, and I love Dango! I don't like lairs and monsters, and I distaste a certain snake bastard! My goal is to be the Chunin Exams second stage proctor. My dream is... To have a family again..." Anko said as her own words hurt her own heart and hung her head down. Gekko and Hinari were annoyed, as it's what Anko always talks about to Rin. They shake their heads at her and cross their arms. "Now, now, you two! There is no need to be judgemental to Anko," Kushina said. Gekko and Hinari stopped and looked up at their sensei. They remained silent as they didn't want to be on her bad side. Ina is puzzled by Anko's dream and is now curious about it, as is Kushina. She scoots over to Anko, places her hand on Anko's back and gently rubs her back. "Could you tell us about your dream? Is it related to this snake man?" Kushina asked, wanting to know what Anko's backstory was. Anko nodded to Kushina's question but was unsure if she trusted her senses enough and if she shouldn't have mentioned her dislikes and her dream. "I... I was part of a small clan, and I was happy with my family until one night, I awoke to the sounds of my mother screaming, my father fighting some bad men, and I lost my older sister and two brothers... They died during the battle, and my mother gave up being a shinobi for years and chose to have a happy life as a wife and mother," Anko started. Ina and Kushina were shocked by this, and they hadn't heard about it until now. "Okay... Now I am going to go and see Lord Third and ask him why we were told of this! We've known Anko for a long time now, and we were told you were always with your family!" Kushina said. Kushina stood up, crossed her arms, and looked at Ina. "Please do some training with them, Ina. I'm going to see that old fossil!" Kushina said. Ina had a sweatdrop on the side of her left forehead, and she nodded at Kushina. Kushina then walked off to talk to Hiruzen. Fifteen minutes later. Kushina arrived at the Hokage Tower and barraged into the office, where Hiruzen was in a meeting with the council members. They were all shocked to see Kushina barraging into the office without permission, and Hiruzen was curious about Kushina's sudden arrival.
