"What are you doing here?" Emily asked, more like demanded. She wanted to know who, why, what and when did God decide to ruin her day by presenting Jeonghan in front of her.

Jeonghan tilted his head ever so slightly, still looking like a toddle who spots a rainbow for the first time, and said, "Why, waiting for the bus of course."

He gestured to the bus stop in front of them, making an expression as if it were not any more obvious, making Emily feel slightly stupid.

"I know that," Emily said, her voice rising slightly as her cheeks colored pink, "I mean, what are you doing here? In Ilsan?"

"My grandmother lives here. Remember?" Jeonghan raised his eyebrow, "Or did you forget how we met for the first time, cupcake?"

Emily blinked in surprise. Hearing the word cupcake sent her through a quick memory lane.

Cupcake. She remembers the first time he called her that, it sent tingles through her spine...and it still did now too.

Emily turned her head away and softly said, "I remember. But I thought you usually go to your mom's."

Jeonghan put his hands in the pockets of his track pants and swayed back and forth a few times while saying, "I do. Just decided to visit my grandmother this time. She's lonely living alone. My dad also only visits her a few times in a year after all."

The bus arrives at that particular moment and Emily hops in with Jeonghan following close behind her. She chooses a single seat near the back of the bus and Jeonghan proceeds to choose a seat right behind her.

"So...how's your grandmother? Did she like the makgeolli I gave her?" Jeonghan asks, leaning in close enough so he could speak directly into Emily's ear. Emily did know that there is a high chance that the makgeolli was bought by Jeonghan but she had also hoped that wouldn't be the case since she knows how much Jeonghan hates coming to Ilsan and doesn't visit often.

Emily didn't reply and just looked outside the window.

"Okay. Ignore me if you want to," Jeonghan said but he sounded playful rather than hurt. Almost as if the challenge excites him.

He spend the rest of the bus ride either sitting quietly or occasionally leaning in to say something to Emily. When Emily reached her stop, Jeonghan decided to get off at the stop as well and followed her to the cafe.

"Don't you have anything better to do than following me," Emily asked him, practically being able to feel his presence right behind her.

"Actually, I was also planning on studying at a cafe. Just coincidentally happened to see you on the way," Jeonghan replied and Emily stopped short, whipping around with narrowed eyes at Jeonghan, to scan him. Jeonghan just raised his eyebrows as he nearly walked into Emily when she suddenly stopped and just pointed at the bag he is carrying, which Emily did recognize to be his work bag.

Emily didn't say anything but she must have made a frustrated face because Jeonghan smiled and began to walk side by side beside Emily.

"I didn't think you studied," Emily commented.

"Of course I study," Jeonghan said, "I know I am a genius but you can never go wrong with fact checking, can you?"

Emily had half a mind to slam the door into him when she reached the cafe but decided against it since there are far too many windows around.

"I'll have a ice latte," Emily ordered at the counter.

"And I'll have an ice americano," Jeonghan ordered, leaning in from behind her.
