Part 12: Hawkmoth Falls

Robin and Batman close in on Hawkmoth. I trap Hawkmoth with my yoyo.

"It's over, Hawkmoth," I state.

"Not yet!" Hawkmoth yells and taps his cane on the ground.

The ground beneath us starts to shake. Using that moment, Hawkmoth escapes my hold and runs. Batman and Robin secure themselves to the wall. Ladynoir has Nathalie knocked unconscious and tied up. She jumps onto the ledge of the wall.

"Drone, go now," Ladynoir states.

Drone dives towards Gabriel and uses his venom. Hawkmoth is now paralyzed. In that instance, Drone rips off the pin, and Gabriel's transformation falls.

"NO!" Gabriel yells.

I use that moment to trap Gabriel in my yoyo.

"Gabriel Agreste, of course you're the villain. Not only did you mistreat your son, you also destroyed Paris many times for your benefit. You are the worst father that could exist," Ladynoir states.

"I did this all for us! I wanted my wife back, and then our family would be normal," Gabriel insists.

"You were so wrapped up in the past that you hurt your own son. If you just looked into the present, you could have realized that your son needed you. Yet you didn't. You were so enthralled with bringing back your wife that you destroyed many people's lives," I state.

"Nooroo, return to us. As the guardians of the miraculous, we forbid Gabriel Agreste from ever using a miraculous again. Your knowledge of the miraculous will be erased. However, you will suffer the mental and physical torture you put Paris through in your dreams. You will feel the pain you have caused even after you forget about the miraculous." Ladynoir and I say it together.

Gabriel falls unconscious.

"No, you can't!" Nathalie says.

We all turn to see Nathalie awake. Before she can do anything, Ladynoir throws her baton at Nathalie, making her fall.

"Dusuu, return to us. For the misuse and damage to Dusuu, you have paid with a few years of your life force. Nathalie Sancoeur, from this moment on, you will never be able to use a miraculous ever again. Your knowledge about the miraculous will be wiped from your memory. However, you will pay the price through your dreams by experiencing the mental and physical torture you put Paris through," Ladynoir and I state together.

Once Gabriel and Nathalie are punished, we knock them unconscious and leave them on the ground.

"Guys, I found Emilie," Viperion says.

We all head towards the basement, where Viperon found Emily.

"What the hell is that?!?" Red Hood shouts.

We see a glass coffin with Emilie lying in it.

"Now that is creepy," Red Robin says.

"We should have expected that he would do this," Rukyo states.

"This is because she used the damaged peacock miraculous even though Dusuu told her not to. She got what was coming for her," Ladynoir states.

"Still, we have to fix this. We can't leave this woman here," Drone says.

"I guess I can try healing her. But who knows if it actually will work on someone who has been in a coma for such a long time?" I state.

"Before you do that, we have to take her claim on the miraculous away," Ladynoir says.

"As the guardians of the miraculous, we forbid Emilie Agreste from ever using a miraculous again. Her memories of the miraculous will be erased," Ladynoir and I state.

Now that's done, I walk up to her body and use my healing magic. Slowly, the magic enters her body, and her breathing becomes heavier.

"She's going to wake up," Viperon says.

I look down and realize it's true.

"What? Who are you?" Emilie asks.

"Madame, we are the heroes of Paris. We were here fighting the villain when we discovered your presence. It seems your husband was keeping you down here while you were stuck in a coma," I explain.

"What?! That can't be! I couldn't have been in a coma," Emilie denies.

"It's true, madame. You can see for yourself if you have doubts," Ladynoir adds.

"My son, where is he?" Emilie quesyions.

"That is something you must ask the police. Your husband just lost custody of him today under charges of neglect and abuse," I say.

"My Gabriel couldn't have done that!" Emilie excalims.

"Madame, it's been ten years since you have been in a coma. A lot of things happened, and you falling into a coma made your husband lose his way. If you don't believe us, you can ask your son," Ladynoir states.

"Before that, we will send you to the hospital," I state.

Before Emile can interfere with our decision, Ryuko grabs her and starts walking outside. Drone and Viperon grab Nathalie and Gabriel to take them back to court.

"Bat family, you all need to leave. We have the press to deal with, and we know how much you hate the press," I state.

I watch as the bat family leaves. Bridgette and I left to deal with the aftermath.

"Ready, sis," I say.

"Right back at you," Bridgette says.

I spot Nadja Chamack in the crowd.

"Don't be bemused; it's just the news! This is Nadja Chamack reporting in with the latest updates on the final battle between the Miraculous team and Hawkmoth. It seems like the Miraculous Team has saved Paris once and for all from Hawkmoth's reign of terror. We are going to be live with Ladybug and Ladynoir in just a few moments," Nadja states.

"Good evening, Paris. This is Ladybug and Ladynoir coming to report that you are all now free of Hawkmoth's reign. The Miraculous team has dealt with Hawkmoth and Mayura. They will never be able to harm anyone again. We have taken them into our custody," I state.

"Will their identity not be revealed to us?" Nadja questions.

"Their identity will not be revealed to the public since our team has wiped them out of existence. So they are no longer part of this world. But do not worry, as they have received the greatest punishment of all from the universe," I explain.

"However, we have discovered that Gabriel Agreste, Nathalie Sancouer, and Lila Rossi have been helping Hawkmoth during his reign of terror. Gabriel Agreste and Nathalie Sancouer were helping the villain because Hawkmoth promised to heal Emilie Agreste. During this battle, we found Emilie Agreste in the basement of this mansion, hooked up to machines. It seemed as if she was in a coma and there was no chance of waking up." Ladynoir explains.

"Luckily, it seems like Lady Luck has smiled upon her, so she has regained consciousness." However, this does not excuse Nathalie or Gabriel from the crimes they have committed, no matter what reason they had. We leave it to the court to decide their punishment. Additionally, we have discovered Lila Rossi allowing herself to be akumatized purposefully and victimizing others to be akumatized. As of now, there doesn't seem to be any reason aside from self-sastification as the motive behind Lila Rossi's actions. The proof we have found will be forwarded to the court, and we request that these criminals be dealt with the proper punishments." I add on.

"Was Adrien Agreste involved in any of this?" Nadja asks.

"Adrien Agreste has no clue about his father's schemes. He had no idea his mother was in a coma at all. He thought she was dead. Also, considering the fact that Gabriel abused Adrien, there is no chance of Adrien helping his father. As a matter of fact, Adrien was the one who came up to us and asked us to investigate his father. Adrien believed his father was up to no good, but he never realized his father was in cahoots with Hawkmoth himself. If anyone is a victim in this situation, it would be Adrien. So we ask that you all give him your support," I explain.

"This is the Miraculous team signing off for good," Ladynoir states.

With that, Laynoir and I jump off onto the rooftops to head home for now.
