Spellbound

They remaining participants sit in a small blimp, flying above the island. The the tension in the air was thick, you could almost cut it with a knife. It was worse than before they try to find who the spy was.

Jay, who had now a cast around his foot, notices Griffin looking at him "What are you looking at, Zippy?" He raises his eyebrow.

"The next one out of the Tournament" Griffin replies, crossing his arms. Jay glares back at him.

"Why so scared to show us your back, Shadow? Worried we're gonna find a tattoo and know you're working for Chen?" Kai taunts Shade, who was sitting opposite of him.

"I hope this next fight is between you and me, because I'm gonna put you on your back" Shade threatens the master of fire.

Skylor notices Paleman looking at her, he whistles. She crosses her arms, looking away "Do you mind?"

'Tensions are high" Garmadon comments, looking around.

Lloyd wasn't listening. He was looking over at (Y/n), who was looking out of the window. He and the others felt guilty after what happened the day before. Surprisingly it was Kai who seemed to feel most guilty, the two of them had a conversation while walking to his room.

Meanwhile the mentioned girl was looking out the window, uneasyness grew in her chest. Her fear of heights were less than before, but it wasn't gone. She just hoped that they didn't have jump out.

She hadn't talked to anyone since she woke up. She didn't mentioned having the spell to the Ninja. She didn't want to possibly have Chen found out that she had it. Aswell she still was a bit hurt what happened the night before.

The heights were too much for someone else. Neuro stands up from his seat, walking towards the cockpit "I've had enough of this. I can't stand heights. Where's Chen?". He opens the door, to his and others' surprise, it was empty.

A screen in the control panel goes on, revealing Chen "How do I know if this thing's on? Oh, oh, oh, I see, the light. Oh, oh, I'm on? Right now? Ahem, ahem. Hello, final eight. I see you are all eager for the tournament to commence so one of you can win my Staff of Elements. Instead of fighting for a Jadeblade, today you will be fighting for something different"

He presses a button and a live feed show up on the screen. It shows a girl running through the forrest of the island, that girl being Nya.

"Nya" Kai's brown eyes slightly widen, regonising the girl.

Skylor turns to him "You know her?" She asks the fire Ninja"

"It's my sister" Kai answers. "And she must be holding the proof that will stop Chen. The spell he plans to use when he takes our powers"

"We have an uninvited guest on the island. Find her and you will automatically move on to the final round!" Chen explains, changing the screen back to himself.

"He wants us all to hunt her down? She won't stand a chance" Jay says, worried for the girl.

"Then we have to find her before anyone else does" Lloyd responds with a determined face.

"In ten seconds, the bottom will drop" Chen states, making the participants gasp. "But to show you I'm not a bad man, I've given you nine parachutes"

From above the seats, parachutes hang. The floor below them begins to open, giving them not much time. People run, each grabbing a parachute, except for one.

"Sensei Garmadon is there? Shoot, that makes ten. Oh, well, I was never good at math. Heh. Toodle-oo" Chen grins, before the video ends.

The floor fully opens, letting the participants fall down. Each of them had let go of the parachutes, so they were falling along with them.
