What if I wanted to stay in bed all day? he just decides that he's gonna come to my house and not even ask me. I could've been at work, or out with someone.
I roll over in bed so I'm not on my side anymore. August never fails to surprise me. I roll my eyes just thinking about it. August is something.
In this last month we've gotten to know each other a lot better, he knows almost everything about me and the same goes for me with him.
We've been on a couple of more dates an I'm really feeling August. I'm surprised the tabloids of TMZ haven't said anything about me yet, now saying that I'd want them to.
I get up out of my blue printed bed and decided to make it up. I'm kinda a neat freak. I walk to my bathroom to see and brush my teeth again. The leftover BBQ chicken I just had was still somewhat stuck in my teeth and I couldn't have that.
I checked my outfit to make sure I looked presentable, didn't want to send Aug the wrong vibe or anything of that sort. My shorts weren't super short nor were they long they were just in between. My blue basic tee Clung to my body. I pulled it up so my boobs weren't exposed. I should probably change
"Ding dong" went my doorbell, that was quick. I grabbed my fuzzy slippers and put them on as I traveled down the stairs, my floors are always cold for some reason I guess that's cause my house is. Everyone always brings a blanket when they come. I love the cold
I unlock my door to come face to face with none other than Chris and my eyes get wide. I haven't seen Chris is over 2 years, he went MIA on me when he met Karuchee.
She didn't like how much time we were spending together so me and Chris haven't talked since nothing but an occasional text.
"Chris" I stand there dumbfounded
"Big head" he invites himself in as he picks me up and spins me around kissing my forehead. I say nothing
"Hey baby" he smiles.
I've known Chris since I was a teenager. Since I had family in Virginia before I came up here from school I would always come during the summers to stay with my cousins , Aunts & Uncles.
That's how I met Chris before he blew up and became (Chris Brown) I was more than proud of him. We had something going on when we were younger but decided it was better to stay friends. He was the one who took my virginity
"Why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Chris asks with a questionable look on his face
"Bad timing, I have someone coming over." I run my hands through my hair
"Chris I haven't seen you in forever, you have a kid now from what I've heard. You and Kae aren't even together anymore so why show up now? Because I'm not anyone's last resort"
I close my front door and lock it waking to my living room and turning on the tv.
"I've did some thinking and I noticed that you're the thing that was missing from my life Marian. You know how I feel about you and that I love you with all my heart I would anything for you. I'm ready for us to be something more than this" he points between me and him
I look right past him and continue to watch criminal minds.
"Marian?" I sigh and look at the screen
"Marian!! So you really gone sit here like you don't see a nigga?" Chris asks. I pay him no mind like I've been doing
He kneeled In front of me so I can't see TV anymore
"Look, I know I was wrong. I'm sorry fit doing you the way I did. You didn't deserve that. I shouldn't have picked someone I've only known for 7 months over someone I've known for years baby and I'm sorry for that" he sighs taking my hands in his
"Chris I hear you I do, but for you not to come and see me. Yes you checked up a couple of times but that was nothing compared to how long it's been since I've seen you. Chris I'm not going to drop everything because you're here, and I've found someone" I smile
As if on key August texts me right then and there.

Chris began to get red, the wrinkles in his forehead come out.
"Is that the nigga you talking about?" He asks trying to stay calm
I try to grab my phone before he does but he's too fast and grabs it before I can
"Who the hell is Aug Marian?" I take a deep breath and prepare to explain
"August Alsina" I say softly, looking up to see his reaction
He runs his hands over his face. "My nigga August? The one I hang with? Are you serious right now?
"You were gone!" I scream "I wasn't gonna wait forever Christopher"
He sits down and puts his head in his hands.
"You right I don't know what I was thinking. Imma let you do you" he gets up and grabs his coat walking towards the door
"I can't believe I ever wanted to be with you" his words sting deep.
Really deep. I love Chris with all my heart and for him to say something like that to me. I hold back my tears and open my front door for him to leave.
After a few seconds of him just standing there he hasn't moved so I look up and see none other than a furious August on my porch with my favorite in his hand. Chipotle and a even more upset Chris.
"Lordd" I bite my lip
