False alarm
I guess he peeped my reaction because the next thing he said made me feel better.
"I'm not asking you to Marry me Marian" he laughs shaking his head. His pearly whites showing
I love this mans smile. It's one of those smiles that heats your heart up. I let out a deep breath I didn't know I was holding
"Phewwww, that makes me feel better" I laughed back
"A nigga kinda new at this shit, so don't go all soft on me" he laughs
"It's just a promise. That no matter how hard things get or how mad we get at eachother we will always be there. It's August and Marian forever. I want this promise ring to symbolize our liking for eachother and soon to be love. That we'll never lie to eachother and always be our rock" he smiles, scratching the back of his neck
"Thugs don't cry" he laughs
I take my Arm and wipe my tears
"I don't think I've cared for someone so much since Mel" he says.
I instantly cry somemore I knew what Mel meant to him, I'm sure everyone did.
"I promise" I say as I jump in his arms and kiss him. He kisses me back and we soon pull away
He puts the promise ring on my finger, and I smile
"August we gotta go" I laugh
"I know"
"I like you baby" I kiss his lips once more, It's like saying love but not exactly taking it too that far yet.
"I like you more" he smiles
We continue smiling at eachother until we get in separate cars and drive off.
What am I gonna do when he goes on tour or something?
