Stop playing
I walked in my house to see August watching "Friday". I put my keys on the table and say the food on the kitchen isle. I didn't feel like cooking today, today was supposed to be a chill day. I stand there a couple of more seconds to see if August notices I'm home. Should I tease him or mess with him? TEASE always wins
I walk over to where he is and stands behind him. I bend down and place a kiss on his neck
"Baby" kiss
"I'm" kiss
"Home" kiss
I say in my most seductive voice, I pull away and let my lips linger from the kisses.
"Marian keep playing" he groans "I'll have you bent over this couch so fast" I laugh and sit next to him.
"I brought you Popeyes, it's the closest I could get to New Orleans from Virginia" I laugh
"Ya I heard ya, thank you shawty" he smiles
I get up and go to fix his plate. My mom taught me well, always make you mans plate. I pilled it up with Chicken, a biscuit, some mash potatoes and I go and get him some kool air. I bring him his plate.
"Thank you baybeh" he says as he takes it from my hands
"You're welcome" I go back to the kitchen and get my plate then walk back over to the living room and sit beside him.
He watches the screen intensely "I never understood what the hype was about this movie" I say bitting a piece of my chicken.
"Friday is legendary baby!! Ice cube, Chris tucker.. Come on now" he looks at me like I'm crazy.
I chew my food trying not to laugh. August just looks at me.
"Why you chew so fast, you got rabbit jaws" he laughs
"Shut up" I frown "it's just how I've always chewed" I say slowing down.
I soon finish my plate and take it to the kitchen. I wash the dishes after I get August's and put them up.
August comes behind me and pulls me to his chest. "Ready for bed?" He asks
"Yes" I smile and turn around to kiss him. He snaps a picture and I pull away
"Aug!" I yell surprised
"Yes" he smiles a cheeky grin
"Why did you do that, the nation already wants Rip my head off" I say
"The nation needs to understand I'm not gonna be alone forever" he says, and then to make matters worse he uploads the picture to Instagram and Twitter
"Me and my lady🙈😳👀" was his caption.
I sigh and go upstairs August is hot on my heels. I text Jessica & Michelle, we need to do a girls night soon.
I strip down and change into some shorts and a t shirt for bed. August has ready made himself at home, his chest is bare and opens his arms.

I scoot closer to him and he pulls me to his chest, I trace his tattoos with my index finger.
"I don't know if I've ever hold you, but I love your tattoos" I say tracing his Red A
I hear his smile
"Thank you"
"I'm releasing a new song tomorrow" he whispers
"What it called" I question
"Hip hop" he smiles "I think it's going to go really far, I feel like it's gonna help some people. I wanna do this thing on Twitter where people tweet what hip hop means to them" he pauses but continues
"This song is gonna speak to people" I can hear the pride in his voice
"Is that the song you were tweeting lyrics to in Twitter?" I ask
He chuckles "yes baby it is, you Twitter stalk me or something?" He laughs "you wanna those girlfriends?" He asks putting emphasis on those
I replay his sentence in my head, girlfriend? He hadn't asked me yet maybe he slipped up. I decide to ask him about it because it's now or never
"Girlfriend?" I ask
He rubs his hand over his face "I don't know man.. You know out of my whole life I've only had one girlfriend. I've been a player all my life" he laughs
"I'm kinda new to this, and I know I ain't ask you or nothing but just take this as a mating call.. I want us to be something" he kisses the temple of my head
I smile at him and look up as I peck his cheek.
"Thank you for trying"
He holds me close and I fall asleep in his arms
