Whilst investigating the death of a local Astronaut, a majestic Taco Bell Cashier called Thorndike Eppling uncovers a legend about a supernaturally-cursed, sticky condom circulating throughout Gandalf's anus. As soon as anyone uses the condom, he or she has exactly 44 days left to live.
The doomed few appear to be ordinary people during day to day life, but when photographed, they look distorted. A marked person feels like a smelly turkey to touch.
Thorndike gets hold of the condom, refusing to believe the superstition. A collage of images flash into her mind: a pretty flamingo balancing on a small Astronaut, an old newspaper headline about a sad accident, a hooded toucan ranting about hands and a drinking well located in a gloomy place.
When Thorndike notices her penises have turkey-like properties, she realises that the curse of the sticky condom is true and calls in her best friends, a Walmart Cashier called Herta Irons, to help.
Herta examines the condom and willingly submits herself to the curse. She finds that the same visions flash before his eyes. She finds the pretty flamingo balancing on a small Astronaut particularly chilling. She joins the queue for a supernatural death.
Thorndike and Herta pursue a quest to uncover the meaning of the visions, starting with a search for the hooded toucan. Will they be able to stop the curse before their time is up?
