For a school assignment I have to write a short fictional story with a magical creature in a magical world. So i decided to upload it here because I haven't updated this book in two months. \(0-0)/ sorry.
William Hudson was an amateur Wish Fish catcher. He would sail out alone on his modest fishing boat everyday, throw his nets into the salty water, and then pull the net back in and sell the Wish Fish at the market, that is if he caught any. Today was different though. Something was off. The water seemed to be distressed. William wasn't catching a single Wish Fish but he continued to throw his net back into the water hoping that he could snag something.

Glenn swam frantically his tail kicking as fast as a pair of hummingbird's wings. He needed to escape from the corrupted mermaid Selene. She was right behind him when one of Glenn's loyal soldiers grabbed her arm. Glenn still wasn't safe, he needed to get as far away as possible.
"I'll get you Glenn Gill! You and your crown!" Selene yelled as the guard held her back. Glenn continued swimming at top speed. He was making good progress when he dared to glance behind him. He peeked back for a millisecond and somehow managed to tangle himself into a fishing net.
