Kitt/Kai

(Kitt's p.o.v.)

Here I am standing in front of my brother, and my fiance. She had gained weight, and yes I know how hard that Sounds but there's more to it. I knew when I proposed to her there was history between them. But being in fool I um I thought my brother would Keep his Gath und not betray me, but I was wrong. I had become Suspicious when I had trouble finding him late at night, and even more when he said he would teach her our history. Then tonight everything just clicked. He had been sleeping with her and that smug look on her face right now said it all.

"Kitt what are you even talking about you know bloating is a thing in women right?" Kai asked me treating me as though I am stupid. I am not stupid, my father raised me to be the opposite of such things.

"Kai, don't act so innocent I know what you did, you betrayed me, you betrayed your country adn your duty, and worst of all you betrayed our father by sleeping with this ORDINARY!" I shouted. My thoughts slurred together as I yelled. Crap, I had to much wine at the party.

(kai p.o.v. switch)

He was drunk well crap. I looked over at Pae, she was having no reaction. But I wanted to punch him in the face, he shamed me for loving her, but then he was just going to have his way with her in a couple months and have nothing to say about it. Hypocrite.

"You're such a hypocrite, you realize that? You shame me for being with the woman I love willingly, just because she is Ordinary. But then you act like you weren't going to do the same exact thing to her forcefully here in the next couple months. If you really want someone to go have fun with go to Blaire, I'm sure with how big of a suck up she is she would have no issues sucking up to anything else for you!" I shouted.

"Kai, calm down this isn't how we wanted to do this." Pae says to me calmly, grabbing onto my arm.

"You act like you're so high and mighty, but you had a duty and you went against that duty to go sleep around. There has to be some sort of punishment, you slept with my Fiance for crying out loud, don't think you will get away with this!"

"Kitt, he will get away with this, it is me that is to be punished," Pae spoke up. Putting her hand on her stomach. "I am pregnant with his child, not yours, not some random guy, his. The law states that a woman engaged to the king must remain pure even to the king up until their wedding night if she does not do this simple task and falls pregnant to another man's child in my situation Kai's child. Then I am to be stripped of my title and my engagement to the king, and be wed to the man that I slept with whether I like it or not, as punishment for my impurity and slander." She held out the book to him, showing him the written law, all that showed the royal seal at the bottom of the page

"You did this on purpose didn't you?" Kitt started to yell. Pointing to her, I felt his duel ability flair through my veins, he was about to use it on her if I didn't redirect him

"Yes I did do this on purpose, I knew about the law, and I knew what this would do to you. But Kitt, I love her and you knew that, and you still chose to marry her. When I found out that there was a way for me to save her. I took that chance even if I wasn't ready for it." I say. "The law also states that nothing is to happen to her new husband, nor her, or their child. But Kitt I am sorry, you were a good man before the pressures of the kingdom were put on your shoulders, you'll find someone who will love you truly. Just look for them."

Kitt looks at me "I will never forgive you for this." He turns away flinging his arm towards to door. "Just go both of you out of my sight, you'll be wed first thing in the morning!" he yells walking over to Paedyn he takes the ring he gave to her off her finger before sitting down at his desk and running his hands through his hair.

Paedyn and I leave the room, stepping out into the hall I give her a hug, placing my hand on her stomach. I got down on one knee.

"Mam, I must say you are beautiful, and I know you just broke up with your fiance, but would you do the honors of marrying me tomorrow morning?" I ask her, in a joking matter, holding out a ring to her. She rolls her eyes at me before nodding.

I slide the ring onto her hand, standing back up to hug her. "Cockey Bastard." She whispers in my ear as I chuckle.

"Vicous Little Thing" I whisper back to her as I feel her knife tip pointed towards my throat.

"Always." She smirks just barely drawing blood as she adds pressure to the blade on my throat.

"You always do this to your royalty?"

"No, just the one I love." She smiles before kissing me

With that I lead her back to my bedroom, tonight marks no more secrets, tonight means no more hiding, tonight means the beginning of us, and nothing and no one could stop it now. And tomorrow we start a whole new chapter in our lives.

(A/N a bit sooner than I thought I would get this done. But after finishing that new chapter this morning I just had to finish the thought process before I lost it. Also with how frustrated some of you were with Kitt in the last chapter thought I may give you some peace of mind. Anyway I'm going to bed read y'all later!"
