Paedyn

I woke up to a warm arm wrapped around me. I sat up slightly to see Kai laying on his side, as he tried to bury his face further into my side as I sat up. I smiled and started playing with his hair. Tracing his features lightly I smiled. He may not be perfect, but neither am I and I get to love him and marry him, and we get to be imperfect together.
The circumstances in which we got together I'm not proud of knowing how much it hurt Kitt, but he virtually gave us no choice. I enjoy the peace and quiet for a little while as Kai starts to stir mindlessly running his thumb up and down on my stomach.
I know he doesn't think so, but he is going to be an amazing dad, and will be an absolutely amazing dad. I start thinking about the pregnancy, it finally feels real. I guess he and I were going to have a baby. A kid we get to raise together. I look at him still asleep and smile. This was real.
It takes him a few more minutes but he eventually wakes up stretching before wrapping his arms around me tighter. Pulling me back down to the bed and he hugged me.
"Geez Azer didn't realize you were such a softy when you're tired" I say as I continue to place with his hair while he buries his face in my neck.
"Let me love on the mother of my child," he mumbles. I can feel his smile against my skin. Remembering what we had done last night and realizing I was in the literal bare minimum of clothing. Just wearing one of Kai's shirts that hung loosely on my shoulders
"How'd you sleep?" He asked, finally pulling away from his hug.
"Amazing first night in months I haven't had nightmares." I reply
He smiles "Did I have something to do with that?" He smirks
"Maybe." I smile back leaning towards him and within moments our lips collide. He lets his hand rest on my hips as I wrap my arms around his neck. The feeling of his lips is soft and warm. Full of care. Every movement was intentional. He deepened the kiss, starting to get on top of me when the door opened.
"AHHH" I hear Jax scream as he covers his eyes. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?!"
Kai immediately pulls away with a slight pout on his face as I laugh.
"What do you want Jax? I was kinda hoping to finish what I started." He says in a slightly irritated tone.
"Kitt wants you, sent me to go get you and then go get Paedyn ." he pauses "what I didn't realize is that I wouldn't have to to get Paedyn as well because I would be traumatized by my older brother about to have sex with her, who i remind you is betrothed to Kitt "
"Not anymore I'm not" I say in a sassy tone holding up my hand to show a ring with a purple stone, the engravings reminding me of the ones on my father's knife.
Kai is about to stand up from the bed until I watched him realize he was in a worse clothing situation than I was
"Jax, can you tell Kitt I'm on my way? I'm just going to get dressed and I'll head that way. "
Jax nodes before closing the door. We both stand up getting dressed, Kai gives me a dark chuckle seeing the few dark marks on my neck left behind from last night. I pull on a shirt with a higher neckline.
"proud of yourself?" I ask as he continues to smirk
"Oh, very. Just a lovely little reminder for my brother that you're mine." he says
I roll my eyes
"Come on before he gets impatient."
We walk down the halls passing the doors walking into Kitt's office.
"Because of your actions you are to be married. Here's your priest, get it over with. And then you are going to announce to the kingdom what you did." he says coldly, referencing the priest awkwardly standing In the corner.
"Well, I'm glad to be here, now I understand that this is a required marriage by law because he got her pregnant while she was engaged to you?" The priest asked, all three of us nodded. "Well let's get started" he sighs.
It was nothing special or over the top but it was ours we said simple vows smiling the entire time as we did. I looked at Kai seeing a single tear fall from his eye. I quickly wiped it away as he leaned his head into my hand placing his on top of mine.
I wasn't aware of reality, and before I knew it " I now pronounce you husband and wife." The priest says before scurrying out of the room
"Well you're married, are you happy with yourself Kai?"
"Very" Kai replies, wrapping his arm around my waist. "Well I know you want us to announce to the kingdom our shame. And we will just tomorrow, we're going to be enjoying a honeymoon in my room today." Then without warning Kai picked me up and threw me over her shoulder. I watched as Kitt looked infuriated. But I didn't care. All I cared about was knowing what was going to happen when Kai finally set me down.
