Ch:26 When the Party's Over

Y/n's POV:

I came back home around eight after the party.

I entered my room, removed my things from my purse and then laid down on my bed, not wanting to do anything.

I let out a sigh before sitting up with a serious expression.

"Kwamis," I said while staring at a wall. My voice was stern.

All the kwamis including Dazzle came in front of me.

"What happened master?" "What's wrong?" "Is everything alright?" Multiple questions were raised between them but Dazzle knew what I was going to say.

"I... I finally discovered the true identity of Shadow Moth," my face did not have any sort of emotion.

Gasps could be heard among them, clearly, they weren't expecting this from me.

"W-who master?" Said by Kaalki. I turned to them, staring at them with a serious expression. "It's none other than Gabriel Agreste, father of Adrien Agreste and Izzy Agreste, and uncle of Felix Graham de vanily/Fathom."

"WHAT!?" They all said it at the same time.

"Your boyfriend's uncle!?" Said Trixx and a slight of blush crawled on my cheeks. "What!? F-felix isn't my boyfriend!" This wasn't the time to be flustered, no no no. I shook my head to get rid of the thought.

I turned serious and gave them a nod, "it is Felix's uncle."

"Oh nooo, what are we going to do now??" Said Fluffy, panicking.

"The only thing to do now is to inform this to Chat noir-" My phone begins to ring. I went to check it out to see Mari's name.

I grabbed my phone and accepted the call. "Hey Mari, what's up?"

"Hey uh... I know you recognised me back then and I actually want to explain why I was there to not make it seem weird!" She shrieked throughout the phone.

"You know, I'm not the only one who noticed." I replied back in amusement.

"Eh? Really? Who else?" A loud gasp was heard from her side. "Don't tell me... Did Adrien recognised me!?" She panicked.

I let out a small chuckle, "why are you laughing?" Marinette asked me, being confused.

"No you idiot, Adrien is too blind to even recognise you. It was Felix who recognised you."

"Ohhhhh, no wonder. I mean no doubt, he is a genius... Oh yeah, did you meet his mother~?" She asked in a teasing tone, I could literally imagine a smirk on her face.

I felt a slight blush on my face, embarrassment feeling me up. "W-what!? No!"

"Aw man, that's a shame."
"Hey no, no changing the topic. Explain now."
"Oh yeah, alright."

Time skip*

Me and Marinette have been on a call for at least an hour. By the time we ended the call, I saw three missed calls from 'Felix?'

'Jeez..' I thought as I received the text. I pressed on the call button and brought it near my right ear to press it against my ear. It began to ring and in a second, his voice came in.

"Heyyyy, what's up-"
"Why was your phone busy?"
"Huh?"

"Why was your phone busy." It wasn't a question anymore.

I pursued my lips together before answering, "I was on a call with Mari."

"At this hour?" He asked.

"Huhh?? Look who's talking, why'd you call now?" I asked back, feeling slightly suspicious.

"Uh well... Uh..." He became hesitant which made me more suspicious of him. I waited for him to answer but he never replied to me. Feeling dejected, I let out a sigh.

"Fine don't tell me..." I waited for a moment but still nothing. "Uhh by the way..."

"Hm?" He finally responded but it didn't matter now.

"I am going to tell the truth to Chat noir-"

"WHAT!?" He shouted abruptly which made me flinch a little.

"Hey yoo chill, why are you so shocked?" I asked, being extremely confused.

"You can't tell him yet!"
"Huhh? Why not?"
"Because I said so"
"What the f*ck?? He deserves to know."
"No he doesn't."

"No way I'm listening to you, you can't tell me what to do!"

"Y/n, stop being so difficult!" He dared to call me difficult?

"I'm not being difficult! He deserves to know Felix." I was trying to convince him.

"God Y/n no, stop being so stubborn!"

"Stubborn? Alright fine, bye!" I stubbornly declined the call. "Dazzle, time to glow!"

Felix's POV:

'Did she just decline my call? Why is she so stubborn!?' I thought as I stared at my phone's black screen with a frown.

"Wow kid, that must be hard. Getting rejected twice, wow kid." Plagg was full of sarcasm.

"Shut it. Plagg, claws out!" I transformed and went out of the window with the help of my baton.

I went to our usual patrol spot and I already spotted her, waiting for me. I let out a sigh, knowing that I will have no choice but to reveal my identity today.

I got a notification from my baton and saw Ella's text, saying that she wanted to meet me urgently. I closed off my baton and stared at her back.

She was sitting on the edge of the building. I walked towards her from behind and sat beside her, I noticed that she was swinging her legs.

She noticed me and turned towards me, "heyyy, you're here fast."

"Uh yeah, I got your text." Looking forward, towards the city.

She always had that smile on her face, always. She looked forward too. "It's beautiful, isn't it?" She asked while looking ahead at the night city. Of course she said that, knowing how much she loved the night city.

I turned to her, looking at her. Noticing her small smile and her eyes, how it lights up when she sees something mesmerizing. "Yes... It is." But to me, she was the most beautiful thing in the world.
