Ch:27 Sercets and Lies Pt. 3

I kept quiet as I was looking ahead at the night city. Ella was beside me, looking ahead as well and swinging her legs.

"Oh yeah, there is something you need to know." She finally turned to me with a serious expression.

"I know who-"

"Ella," I spoke in between, cutting her off. 

"Hm?" She tilted her head, her way of showing confusion.

I got up and walked back to the roof of the building, away from the edge. Ella being utterly confused, got up as well and came in front of me.

"Chat, what are you-" I cut her off again.

"I think it's unfair..." I let out a sigh, "that you don't know and I do." I did not look at her, I didn't have the courage too because of what I was going to do.

"What are you talking about?" She asked me, standing in front of me.

I finally looked up at her, staring in her eyes before saying her name, her name. "Y/n."

"Wait... Wha-"
"Claws out."

That's what it took, a second... A second to reveal my identity, to transform me from Chat noir to Felix.

Plagg came out of my ring as I de-transformed. I kept staring at her, her eyes were wide, she was completely speechless. It's obvious that she wasn't expecting any of it, especially me being Chat noir.

"F-felix...?" She managed to let it out. She stepped forward until she was just inches away from me. Her both hands were raised until it rested on my chest.

"It can't be... Your Chat noir??" I gave her a small nod, not uttering anything.

"I know you may be disa-" before I could have completed my sentence, she hugged me. I was stunned at first but I eventually wrapped my arms around her.

"It's been you... It's always been you.." she muttered as she buried her face in my chest.

"That's what I have been trying to say," I brought my left hand to her head and started to caress her hair. I rested my chin on her head, still caressing her hair.

We stayed like this for a few minutes before I spoke up, "I'm sorry." Upon hearing this, she pulled back a little.

She tilted her head as she looked at me, "why are you sorry?"

I brought my same hand from her head to her cheek, cupping it and my other hand remained on her waist. "I should have told you earlier about my identity," my voice was sincere.

"You deserved it to know, after all, you are the guardian. I am sorry for lying to you too," my eyes stayed on her.

"Felix, it's okay." She smiles softly, "you lied to protect your identity. And besides, since we know the identity of shadow moth, it will be easy to defeat him. This all Chaos can finally end!" The excitement and joy is evident in her voice.

I gave her a nod before replying back to her, "you're absolutely right. And after all of this is over..." I leaned forward and rested my forehead against her, "maybe we can be together..." I smiled at her.

She was staring at me and the blush which appeared on her face did not go unnoticed by me. I smirked and decided to play with her, "aww is someone blushing~?"

"W-what? Noo!" She pulled away and folded her hand before looking away, a frown and slight pout on her face. She was still very flustered.

"You don't need to lie, you know? The blush is evident on your face. That means you're still in love with me!" I decided to tease and push her more.

"Huh?? I-i..."
"You're not denying it."
"..."

The answer was obvious and she knew it herself. Though she was still avoiding eye contact with me, I decided to stop teasing her.

"Hey..." I grabbed her waist and pulled her close. "We both are in love with each other and there is no point in denying it, okay?" I cupped her face again with my left hand, making her look at me.

She looked up at me, staring in my eyes. "I am indeed still in love with you Felix," she finally confessed. "And I am willing to be with you after everything is over." That's all I wanted to hear. The unspoken words were finally heard. It made me happy, really happy.

I gave her a genuine smile before pulling her into a tight hug. "Me and you against the world my love."
