Lissa's P.O.V:
I walk up the stairs, feeling very nervous all of a sudden. I step into my room, And fall onto the bed. I kick off my shoes, and dig through my hold all, looking for something to wear and not being able to decide on anything.
This is torture!
After spending what feels like an eternity, trying to decide, I land on some high waisted shorts with a catfish and the bottlemen shirt tucked in.
I go over my makeup from this morning, and apply some bright red lipstick, before brushing my hair into a high pony tail.
I pull on my jacket and the old faithful doc martens, grab my purple circle shades and put them on the neck of my t shirt.
I head downstairs, to find my aunt in the kitchen, I check my phone to see I have ten minutes until the boys are picking me up.
Sam is sat at the table, and she taps the seat next to her, shes sort of been like a second mother to me these past few years, especially since my Mums, pretty much abandoned me. So I sit down next to her.
"How was your day love?" She asks smiling.
"It was actually surprisingly good, I managed to make a few friends."
"Yes, I've been told, will you be back home for tea?"
"I'm not sure, I'll text you later, as soon as I know"
"I don't think your dad will be too happy about you going out, you know what he's like."
"Yeah I do."
There is a honk from outside the house, And I see Matty stood there by the passenger door.
My aunt stands up and I can see her checking him out.
"Very nice" she says "I'll see you later."
I head to the front door and she follows, in her pink dressing gown and slippers. She unlocks the door and I step out, pulling her in for a hug. I begin the walk down the steps to the car, Sam waves and heads back inside. I reach the side of the car, and I see that matty is wearing the same shades from this morning, and a plain white T-shirt with holes all over it. Tight black jeans cling to his legs, and doc martens are tied to his feet. His hands stray from his hair for one minute to hug me welcome. As he brings me into his chest, be smells delightfully of cigarette smoke and aftershave, its one of the most amazing combinations of smells I think has ever graced my nose. He plants a soft kiss on my forehead and wraps his arm around my shoulder.
"Hello Princess" he smirks opening the back door for me, so that I can slide in with George and Adam.
I mumble a quick hey as I pull my seatbelt over my shoulder
George looks so out of it when I sit down, but as we pull off he seems to come back. "He wouldn't stop bloody talking about you," he points to Matty "thank fuck you agreed to come otherwise we wouldn't of heard the end of it."
Adam and Ross laugh at Matty blushing, but with the pale pink gracing his usually monotone appearance, he seems to shine. Adam compliments me on my shirt and that sparks a conversation that continues the whole way to the park, all four of us discussing our favourite bands and artists. It was nice, I sort of feel like I know them all better now.
We pull up to the park, and its beautiful, the red orange and yellow leaves dance from the trees and land delicately on the pavement, and grass, as if they fell any harder they would shatter. There are a few kids playing in the leaves, making big piles and falling into them. And on the other side of the lake, I spot the play area, all brightly painted, children cling to the pieces of equipment with huge smiles on there faces.
I glance around to notice that all the boys had already began to walk down the path, heading into some trees. I rush to catch up to them and as I reach them they begin to slow by an opening in the trees.
Theres a circle of trees surrounding three logs lay on their sides. A pile of sticks sit in the middle surrounded by singed leaves.
George and Adam sit on the middle log, Ross sits on the far right log and Matty is sat on the far left, and he pats the space next to him. I gingerly walk forward and place my bottom on the log, finding that it is not in fact as damp as it looks.
Matty reaches into his pocket and pulls out a tobacco tin, opening it, and pulling out what looks like a joint out.
"You care to partake, or is that not very princess like?" He asks, doing that silly half smirk that seems to be constantly splattered on his face.
George chuckles and Adam smiles obviously they think he's funny.I pull out my phone and start typing out a message:
'Not going to be back for tea, will grab something while out-Lissa x'
I select my aunts contact and press send, holding the joint in my left hand and bringing it to my lips. This is exactly what my dad didn't want, he didn't want me mixing with the wrong crowd again, especially after what happened with James. I feel like I'm letting it down, but the familiar but yet strange taste comforts me, and I think to myself 'Dear God it's been a while'
(There has been a sudden influx of reads and favorites, and for that I am so grateful, thanks to all that have read/favourited, I would really love to hear from some of you, whether you like this, and if you have any suggestions as to where I could take this. Thank you all so much, honestly it means a lot.
