*flashback*

"Come on Liam, faster!"

"I'm going as fast as I can Bex!"

"You're not going fast enough!" I yelled out to him.

"I can't do it!"

"You're almost there!" I encouraged.

He paused, sweat dripping from him as he threw his head back, trying to catch his breath.

"Nope. That's it I'm done" he flopped down onto the grass, grabbing a bottle of water.

"Dude you had one more lap" I rolled my eyes, sitting next to him.

"Every day, Bex. Every day we've been doing this"

"I know but you're still not under control and this works as a distraction. Plus you love lacrosse. And since coach isn't here-" he cut me off.

"-You thought you'd take up that spot and put me through hell"

"Precisely" I smiled innocently at my boyfriend. "Anyway, that was just a warm up. On your feet, Dunbar"

He shook his head. "No way"

"Oh come on, do I need to remind you that you're supernatural. You can endure way more than just a couple laps of the field"

"You sure about that?"

"Okay, well there's got to be something we can do to distract your from the full moon" I said.

He grinned.

"Oh no. There's no way I'm doing that again"

"But-"

"Can't you and Mason do it instead"

"But you're more fun" he winked.

"No. I'm not playing video games with you all night again. I need my beauty sleep"

He huffed and leaned back on his hands.

"Well, I can think of another fun activity we could do" he smirked.

"Jenga?" I said enthusiastically.

He stared at me for a moment. "Seriously?"

I laughed. "Okay, but no kisses until you shower first"

"I don't smell that bad"

I raised my eyebrows at him. "Babe" I giggled. "Go shower"

~

"I don't know dude. Everyone at Devonford's pretty abnormal to me" Brett said.

"Alright what else is there to look for? There's heightened strength, smell, hearing, speed" Mason listed each one on his fingers.

"Uh able to see in the dark" I interjected.
