Chapter - 1

A dark night but it was a full moon
night...stars are twinkling in the stars...and
somewhere in a big big hall...a lot of people
cheering for someone...whole hall was fully
with the crowd and every single person
was cheering only one name...
"FAB-5"...which is the most famous
and renowned band of the country...consist
of 5 people...they are 5 bodies but 1
soul...they are famous for their music...the
way they sing...the way they play
music...everyone loves them to the core...
"MANIK...MANIK...MANIK..." ... "WE LOVE
YOU FAB-5"... This was all they were
shouting ...people were going crazy just to
get a glimpse of the most talented band...
Just then a black mercedes appear and 2
people (a boy and a girl) came out of it...a
boy who came forward and hold the other
girl's hand...and whole media came their to
capture every detail of them...right when
media was busy in clicking pictures and
asking a lot of questions regarding their
concerts..there came another black mercedes
and 2 people ( a boy and a girl) came out
..and without giving any importance to
media walked straight to join their two
friends who were already present
there...and bearing media's torture...all the
four hugged each other and stand to face the
whole world together...
A Media person came forward and asked
one of them "Ap log..itne famous hai..ap
kuch kehna chahenge is baarei mein.."
A boy named Cabir(one of the member of
fab-5) just smiled and said " We are lucky
enough..that people showers so much love
on us...it's because of their love that we are
standing over here"... and the rest 3 smiled
at his answer and then a girl named MUKTI
(other member of fab-5) said "Cabir is
right...it's all because of their love and
support.."...and they all tries to make their
way towards the hall...then again a media
person asked them with a very curious look
which make the 4 members look lost ...he
asked "but...it's FAB-5..but har concert ki
tarah is concert mei bhi...apke lead
singer...nhi najar aa rahe ..why he never
appears infront of media???? "...all 4 were
silent for sometime but Cabir said with a
slight smile ..." beacause he is THE MANIK
MALHOTRA"...and they all left holding each
others hand...without giving any chance to
further ask any stupid question...
INSIDE THE HALL...(IN GREEN ROOM)
All the four were silent...and 3 were sitting
on their respective chairs while Cabir were
leaning against the wall standing in the
corner...and Mukti broke the silence...
Mukti : "kab tak...kab tak...Manik esa
karega...woh kyu nhi samjhta ki..."
"MUKTII..."and she was cut in between by
cabir looking angrily but with helpless eyes
and nodded no to her signalling not to say
anything further...and she look down as she
was also not willing to complete her words...
Dhruv (other member of fab-5) :
"Guys..relax...let's not start this topic...it will
only give pain...i just hope Manik jaldi aa
jae"...
Aaliya( another member of fab-5) : "I hope
so too..."
And they all look towards each other with
hopeful but helpless eyes...they also don't
know...what is the next moment going to
bring in their lives...just then their
performance were announced and they left
to face the crowd but all are hell
scared...because their performance is about
to begin and there is no sign of manik till
yet...but they took a deep breath and went to
stage where whole crowd start cheering for
them...suddenly all the light goes off...and
spot light falls on a tall man who was facing
his back towards the audience standing on
the stage...holding a guitar in his hands
wearing a black tuxedo ..and he slowly and
slowly turns around..a bright white light
falls on his face...and he slowly open his
eyes to look in front...his eyes were fully
red...may be because he had cried...or may
be because he was holding his tears...he look
towards his friends and he managed to give
a warm smile...a smile to assure his friends
that he is there...right with them...yes...He is
THE MANIK MALHOTRA..the lead singer and
and there buddy...there everything...
He slowly closed his eyes...and a peaceful
smile appears on his face...which lightens his
face in that dark hall...he slowly start singing

A tear fell from his eyes..but he controlled
and look towards the gate of the hall...with
hopeful eyes as if he is waiting for someone
very eagerly...but there was no sign of that
person...
Aaa...

Jab haqiqat mein usey todna tha..
He look upwards with so much complaining
expression on his face and close his eyes
when he sang the last line...a tears start
flowing from his eyes..he hold himself and
completed the song...

He completed the song ...gave a big smile to
the audience and to his friends...and left the
stage...while the people were cheering and
was already out of control by such an
mesmerizing performance...soon all the
other members also left the stage to find
Manik...but he was no where seen..all got
worried...Cabir reassure others that he will
find him...and he ran towards the parking
lot where he found manik who was about to
sit in the car...cabir shouted his name from
back and manik stopped right on his spot
but didn't look back...cabir came towards
him and hold his shoulder and make him
confront him...
Cabir : "tujhe kya laga...puri duniya ko is
smile se bevakoof bana sakta hai toh...mujhe
bhi bana lega??"..by saying this cabir hugged
him tight and pat on his back and cabir
continued... "Manik...plz ...mat kar...WOH
nhi hai yahan...woh chali gayi hai...mat
kar"...
after listening such words from him Manik
moved out his arms and opened the car
door and sit inside it...before could say
anything further he drove away ...leaving
cabir behind who was having tears in his
eyes..as he can't see his best friend in this
much pain...
Somewhere in the middle of the road..
Manik put a sudden break to his car..and
came out...bang his hand on the car
bonnet...and yelled... "AAA..."...he shouted
his heart out..and sit right on the road
leaning to the car holding having tears in
this eyes...he sobbed...and said..
Manik : "kyu?...kyu? ...kyu sab keh rahe hai
tum nahi ho nandini...kyu?...tum
ho...tum yahin ho...right in my soul...tum
apne manik ko chorkar kabhi ja he nahi
sakti..."
he cried even more...just then Cabir came
with his car and found manik sitting on the
middle of the road..when manik left him in
the hall he knew manik is hurt thats why he
traced him from gprs..and found his
location...
Cabir came out of his car...put his hand on
manik shoulder and sat down ...manik
couldn't hold anymore and hugged his
buddy his bro tightly...Cabir also holded him
back and said...
Cabir: "shhh...shhh...manik plz...plz shant ho
ja...plz...she is watching you ...she will be
pain by seeing you like this...she WAS the
purest soul Manik..."...
before could complete his sentence...manik
left him with a jerk and stand straight... and
said with alot of anger...
Manik : "SHE IS THE PUREST SOUL
CABIR..SHE IS..."...
Cabir also stood up and hold manik and
said..
Cabir : "Manik ...what's wrong with
you...are you out of your senses...tu maan
kyu nhi leta...that...that... SHE IS NO
MORE...WO MAAR CHUKI HAI MANIK..SUNA
TUNE...MAAR CHUKI HAI WOH..."
Manik was out of control now..how can his
best friend say such words of his
love...about his soul...he banged his hand
with the bonnet and look straight into
Cabir's eyes holded him by his shoulder and
said with determination...
Manik : "ZINDA HAI WOH...YAHIN HAI
WOH...MERI NANDINI ZINDA HAI...SAMJHA
TU...MERI DHADHKANE IS BAAT KA
SABOOT HAI KI WO ZINDA HAI...JAB TAK
MERI SAANSEIN CHAL RAHI HAI...USKI BHI
CHAL RAHI HAI..JAHAN BHI HAI WOH...PAR
WOH ZINDA HAI..."
With this he left Cabir baffled and sit inside
the car and left without looking towards
Cabir...and Cabir wiped his tears...look
upwards and prayed silently...
"I wish..yeh sach ho..agar nhi hua...pata nhi
kya ho jaega..plz kese bhi...ise sach
kardo..plz..."...
and cried very badly...but left from there...
