Chapter - 12

IN THE NIGHT :
Manik was not feeling good..so he decided to get some
fresh air and he moved out alone..as he didn't wanted to
disturb anyone..
Manik was somewhere in the garden ..walking
..he was thinking about nandini..he stopped
and sat down on the nearby bench..he rested
his head on the back of the bench..put both his
hands on either sides of bench..and closed his
eyes..
Manik : "main nahi janta sach kya hai..aur
Janna bhi nahi chahta..tum ho ya nahi..mai kisi
se bhi ab kuch sunna nahi chahta..mai tumse
bahut pyaar karta hoon..nandini..bas itna he
janta hu..aur itna he manta hu..bas..."...a tear
fell down from his closed eyes...suddenly he
realized his phone is continuously ringing...he
looked at the screen and found an unknown
number..he answered the call..
Manik : " hello" ...
Voice from other end : "meri baat dhyan se
suno...tumhari nandini...uska sach..adhura
hai..."
Manik : " what do u mean?"..he was confused
as who is talking like this ..
Voice from other end : "tumhari nandini..she
didn't died in an accident..she has been
killed..and..." ..but before the person could say
further ..the line has been cut...
Manik : "hello..hello...kaun bol raha
hai..hello..." He stand in a shock..he realized
phone has been disconnected...
Manik : "kaun that woh..."... He was confused
then that person's voice " she has been killed"
was echoing in his mind...
Manik : " MY NANDINI HAS BEEN KILLED"...he
said in disbelief and shock as well..
And then he start remembering that day..which
changed his life forever..
(flashback)
In the night..Fab-4 was sitting in the hall of
farmhouse along with navya,aahana and
ayaan..while Manik was walking to and fro..
Manik : "yeh nandini ab tak kyu nahi aayi..it's
too late..."..he said while looking towards the
main gate.."
Mukti : "are aa jaengi woh..tu toh aese bol raha
hai..jese wo 2 years ki bachi hai jo kho
jaengi"...manik glared at her..while others
laugh at her statement..
Cabir : "kya ese kya dekh raha hai use..theek to
keh rahi hai wo..tu toh wese bhi JOGI MANIK
ban chuka hai..shakal dekh kar aa apni..1/2
ghante mei kya halat karli hai apni...esa lag
raha ..jese sadiyooon se nahi dekha tune
use"..all laughed at his statement except
Manik..
Manik didn't paid any heed to their taunts..he
was restless now..just then he got a call from
Nandini..
Manik : "Nandini kaha ho tum..what's wrong
with you..ek call bhi nahi kar sakti thi..how can
you be so irresponsible..tumhe pata bhi hai
..mai kitna pareshan hoon yahan..yeh new city
hai tumhare liye..but ..tum toh tum ho na..you
never listen to me..ab..ab chup kyu ho..kuch
bologi bhi.."...he said all this in one breath..
Nandini : "ho gaya ..ya aur kuch..uffo !
manik..tum bhi na..bewajah itni tension lete
ho..my monster mai ghar ke paas he hoon..bas
aa rahi hoon..and mujhe tumhe kuch dikhana
hai..mai jaldi se ghar aati hoon..fir
dikhaungi..."..he said last line in very exciting
tone..
Manik : "tum kaha ho..mai abhi aata hoon.."
Nandini : "Manik ..mai bahar he hoon..am on
the road..acha tum bahar aao..bas.."
Manik: "theek hai ..just wait there..am coming
outside..."..he tried to cut the call..
Nandini : "ummm manik suno.."..she said in
hurry as he was about to cut the call..
Manik : "hmmm..kya hua?"
Nandini : "han..i love you my monster.."..and
she smile..
Manik : he smiled widely.."I love you too my
lioness.."...and then he cut the call..but still
smiling like a mad person..
Cabir : "dekho toh..iski shakal..thodi der pehle
ese lag raha tha zoo se aaya hai..aur ab..just
uski awaj sunkar ..esa lag raha hai..romantic
dinner pe jaa raha hai..."...all start laughing
and Manik punched him in his stomach and
moved out ...
ON THE ROAD :
Manik saw Nandini who was walking towards
him..and smiling..she was crossing the
road..while Manik just smiled at her..just then
he observes a truck in high speed approaching
towards her..but she didn't noticed..manik was
horrified..he shout..
Manik : "Naaannndiiiniii..."...he shouted with
top of his eyes..his voice was so loud that fab-5
and others also came out to look what happen..
Nandini didn't understand why he shouted..she
only smiles and was walking in his
direction..Manik start running towards
her...but the truck hit her and she fell directly
on the road..Manik freezed on his spot and
everyone was terrified...he run towards
her..she was breathing her last breath ..Manik
was quiet ..he put her head in his lap..but still
he was quiet...everyone else also rushed
towards her..
Nandini :
"MA..A..A..A..A..NI...II..I..I..KK...K...KK...K..." ...and
she closed her eyes..and she was dead right on
the spot...
Everyone tries to wake her..but their nandini
was no more..all started crying badly..but
manik was quiet...cabir hugged manik but he
didn't reciprocate the hug..he was constantly
looking at her face..he neither shed a single
tear nor he uttered a single word...everything
stopped for him right there...
What was going on inside him..nobody
knows..they all took nandini's body back to
Mumbai for her funeral..
After some days..Manik was still quiet ..he
didn't said anything to anyone...but everybody
knew he was broken from inside..they not only
lost their Nandini..they lost their Manik as
well..
And in this gloom only..2 years passed..but
their lives have been stopped right on that dark
stormy night...
(flashback end)
Manik never wanted to remember that day..he
collapsed on the ground...and shouted on top
of his voice...
Manik : "AAA..." he wiped his tears and said
.."nahi..yeh sach nahi ho sakta..meri
nandini..nooo...she wasn't killed..she is alive
..she lives inside my soul..no...no..she is not
dead...nooo"...he again shouted...
Somehow he managed himself..and came back
to home...
AAHANA'S FARMHOUSE :
Everyone was hell worried as where Manik can
went away..he is in danger and now his
sudden disappearance makes them more
worried..just then he came inside..looking
downwards..everyone rushed towards him..
Aahana : "manik..tum kahan chale gayye
the..tum theek to ho na..."...she said worriedly
but he was quiet..he went to the couch and sit
over there..still looking downwards...everyone
was now more worried..Cabir kneel down
infront of him and held his hands..
Cabir : "manik..kya hua..plz bata..tu theek hai
na.."...manik look in his eyes..
Manik : "nanndiiniii"..he said with great
difficulty..now this makes them more worried..
Cabir : "nandini kya manik..."...
Manik : "somebody has called me..and said that
nandini didn't died in an accident..she has
been killed..."...
Everybody was shocked to the core..they all
were speechless..their nandini has been
killed..destiny didn't pulled them
apart..somebody has snatched her from
them...but only one question ringing in their
heads..."WHO CAN DO THIS"...
Manik : "meri nandiniii"...and tears fell down
from his eyes...all hugged him tightly ...
Manik : "i want some alone time..plz.."..he goes
upstairs..
Cabir : "but manik..."..he tried to stop him..but
hold him with his shoulder..
Abhi : "jaane do use Cabir..bahut kuch hai uske
andar..let it come out..trust me iske baad hume
ek strong Manik milega.."
Mukti : "humse hamari nandini ko kisine alag
kiya hai..i swear i will kill that person.."..she
said with tears in her eyes but a lot of anger on
her face..
Cabir found Manik's phone on the couch and
saw the last received number..he thought he
had seen this number somewhere else also..he
quickly took out his phone and checked his call
history and he found it was the same number
from which he got call on Manik's accident
night..and person clearly said to save
manik..abhi came towards CABIR..
Abhi : "kya hua cabir.."
Cabir : "its the same number..jisse mujhe us
raat call aaya tha..jab manik ka accident hua
tha..kaun hai yeh ..jo itna kuch janta hai..we
need to find out..yeh sab itna bhi simple nahi
hai..jitna lag raha hai..i think there is
something very deep..jo hume dikh nahi
raha.."...everybody was in deep
thoughts..everyday is coming as a shock for
them..they thought there life has become the
puzzle..which will not solve easily ..but till they
all are together..they will solve it..
Cabir : "jisne nandini ko humse alag kiya
hai..we will find that person at any cost.."..he
said determinedly..
"WE SWEAR ON YOU NANDINI..." ..they all said
in unison..
SCENE SHIFT :
Just when the person was giving the info
regarding nandini's death ..somebody came
from behind and snatched the phone from
person's hand and disconnected the call..The
person turned and got the biggest shock after
seeing who snatched the phone ...
Boy : "TUM???"..
Voice : "ufff! kya hua ...kuch important baat
karhe the..maine disturb kar
diya????...sorry..."...the person said in an
innocent yet evil tone..
Boy : "maine manik ko bata diya hai..that
somebody has killed his nandini..now u just
wait..your countdown has begun.."..he said
smilingly..crossing his hands across his chest..
Voice : "ohhh really...tumhe esa lagta
hai??...kaun bataega use...tum ya tumhari dead
body..hahhahahhahhahaaha"..that was a evil
laugh ..and the boy was frightened at first but
soon his face was covered with a smile..
Boy : "I know u will kill me..but trust me..i
don't care..atleast life mei pehli baar ek acha
kaam kiya hai maine..."...he said with a broad
smile...
Voice : "wowww!!!!! am impressed...sadiyon
purani mohabbat akhir jag he gayi...akhir dosti
..dushmani pe bhari pad he
gayi..kyu..HARSHAD.."...the person said
cunningly..
Harshad : "han..dosti fir jeet gayi...maine puri
life Manik se nafrat ki..ek misunderstanding ki
wajah se aur wo yeh ki mujhe lagta tha Manik
ne mujhe Mukti se alal kiya..Manik insecure tha
mujhse..but mai galat tha..i realized ..manik has
always loved me..mai he tha woh..jisne BAND
OF BROTHERS todha..but now am
happy..FAB-4 hai uske sath..they will protect
him.." ...
Voice : "Harshad..tum ab bhi nahi
samjhe.."..the person said mockingly.. "Manik
Malhotra doesn't need a looser like you...you
know why...because he himself is a big
looser...hahahahahahaha..."...the person again
laughed evilly...
Harshad : "has lo..jitna hasna hai..ek din...wo
tum tak jarur pahuch jaega..aur fir..tumhe
khud par bhi hasi nahi aaegi.."..he said with a
smirk..this makes the person angry..
Voice : "harshad..bas.."..person said in anger..
Harshad : "i wish i would be able to save
nandini also..but his family will save
manik...you can't harm manik...u just
can't..."...this was it..the person shoot harshad
and he died right on the spot..
Person : "I hate those..who talks a lot...good
bye harshad..may your soul never rest in
peace,...hahahahahahaha..."...the person
laughed evilly and left the place...
AAHANA'S FARMHOUSE :
Manik was in his room..he had pasted a big
picture of Nandini on the wall and he was
touching her cheeks with his hands..
Manik : "Nandini..mai nahi janta ..kya hai jo
mujhe rok raha hai..mera dil..ab bhi yehe keh
raha hai..ki tum ho..tum yahin ho..."
(Background music)

very lovingly..while Manik came to the room's

remembered nandini had said " I WILL ALWAYS
SHINE FOR YOU"... he closed his eyes and tear fell
down from his eyes)
Manik : "why ..i can feel you..mera dil kyu
nahi maan leta ki tum nahin ho..."...he wiped
his tears and said..."jisne bhi tumhe mujhse
alag kiya hai..mai usse uski saansei cheen
lunga..i will not spare that person nandini...i
won't...the world has till now saw my love for
you..but now this world have to face my
wrath..i will burn the whole world..but will
find that person who has snatched you from
me..."...he said determinedly..
SOMEWHERE IN A DARK ROOM :
Someone was still sitting on the floor..holding a
pillow tight..and in one hand a beautiful
bracelet..the person slowly opens the eyes..the
face of that person is pale..like that person is ill
from ages...it's a girl...she slowly get up but
again fell down due to weakness...
Girl : "MANIK..." ..the name came out from her mouth
abruptly as she has only enchanted this name all her life...
MANIK'S ROOM :
Manik who was lying on his bed...woke up with a jerk..
Manik : "NANDINI..."..he said abruplty..."ESA KYU LAGA
MUJHE JESE TUMNE MUJHE AWAAJ DI ..." he closed his
eyes and rested his head on bed rest..
Manik : "I WILL FIND THAT PERSON WHO HAS SNATCHED
MY LIFE FROM ME...GET READY ..FROM
TOMORROW..THIS WORLD WILL MEET MONSTER MANIK
MALHOTRA"...he said with full anger...
