Chapter - 2

Cabir left the place after confronting
Manik...he directly went to his home..where
his friends and his love Navya (navya is
cabir's girlfriend and she isn't pregnant )
was waiting for him impatiently...Cabir rang
the doorbell but before ringing he wiped all
his tears took a deep breath and composed
himself...after hearing the ring..Navya ran
towards the door and opened it...and there
she found Cabir standing taking the support
of the wall..it doesn't take a fraction of
second to make Navya realize Cabir's
state...she knows him well..more than he
know himself..Cabir gave a faint smile to her
but ignore eye contact as he very well know
if he will look in her eyes..he will collapse
right there in her arms...so he holded
himself...and move inside...Mukti ran
towards cabir and asked him...
Mukti : "Manik mila ...wo theek to hai
na...hai kahan wo...tu laaya nhi use...kuch to
bol..."
but Cabir was silent...he was not able to
gather words...how to tell them...that their
Manik is in pain...he is killing himself bit by
bit...a lone tear escape from his eyes...
Aaliya : "Cabir..plz say something...you are
scaring us...plz..say na...where is he?"
Dhruv : "Han cabir..bata na...buddy kahan
hai..uska phone bhi nhi lag raha hai...wo
theek hai na...tu mila usse..."
all this while...Cabir was lot in his own
thoughts...Navya came forward and put her
hands on Cabir's shoulder...which make
Cabir out of his thoughts...
Cabir : "ha..an...wo..wo...thee..eek hai..." ..he
said while stammering...
Navya : "Manik...kese...kese theek ho sakta
hai woh..." ..she cried silently lowering her
gaze...
Mukti : "kahan hai woh...tune baat ki
usse...chal hum uske paas chalte hai..."...by
saying this she tried to move out...but Cabir
holded her hand and gesture a no to her...
Cabir : "Wo ghar gaya hoga...shayad..." ...he
said the last word in a low pitch voice as
was also not sure that where must he have
went...
Aaliya : "Manik..ko ese nhin dekh sakte
hum...mujhe samjh nhi aata ki wo maan kyu
nhi leta ki..."...and she paused which make
every single eye teary who were present
there...
Dhruv : "woh kese accept kar paega...pyaar
karta tha wo usse..." ...his eyes were also
watery and wasn't able to take this pain any
longer..but someone was angry by his
statement...and that was cabir...
Cabir : "how could u say this dhruv...woh
pyaar karta THA nhin..Manik aaj bhi
nandini se bahut pyaar karta hai..." ...he said
in anger but in pain too...
Aaliya : "Cabir...uska matlab woh nhi
tha...woh to bas..."
Cabir : "Woh toh bas kya Aaliya??..bolo..."...
Cabir could not take this anymore..he can't
pretend to be strong ...he collapsed on the
ground...and start crying badly...he was
screaming...yelling...he was in pain...not for
him...but for his bro..their Manik..who had
always protected them..but they were failed
in protecting him...he cry..cry...cry harder
and harder...everyone rushed towards
him...Navya took him in her arms and try to
calm him...to soothe his pain..but all was in
vain...after sometime he was bit relaxed...he
stopped crying..but his eyes were red..still
having tears in them...
Mukti : "Cabir..plz..agar tu ese karega toh
hamara kya hoga..plz uth.."
with that..she made him stand and let him
sit on the chair and Navya brought a glass of
water for him...he drank it and was bit
relaxed...he rested his head on the back rest
of the chair and closed his eyes while Navya
put her fingers in his hairs...
Mukti : "Hume Manik ko realize karwana
hoga...warna hum use kho denge.."...and she
also cried..aaliya hugged her...
Dhruv : "par Manik...jab usne tab nhi mana
toh ..ab kese...jabki tab toh..."and he
paused...
Cabir opened his eyes after listening to
Dhruv's unfinished words..he look towards
everyone...who have tears in their eyes..he
stood and hugged them all...
MURTHY'S VILLA
A boy sitting on the floor of a
room...surrounded by lots of pictures...it
was a dark room but from the window
moon light was falling inside to enlighten
it...a boy...was holding a scarf in his
hand..and with the moist teary eyes...he pick
one of the picture ...look deeply in the
person's eyes in that picture...touches it very
gently...love for that person was clearly
visible in his eyes...he hugged that picture
tightly..and said... "Tumhara...tumhara
Manik aa gaya...Nandini...plz aa jao..."...and
he start weeping...
A girl standing on the door wearing a
beautiful white anarkali suit ...her long hairs
were open..her eyes were shining...shining
like stars...she came towards Manik..said
beside him ...holded his hands and make
him look into her eyes...
Girl : "Manik...kyu itna mushkil kar dete ho
mere lie..kyu.."..
Manik : "Kyunki...tum mujhe apne sath nhi
rehne deti...NANDINI..."
Nandini : "Manik...tum jante ho..yeh
possible nhi hai..aur mai to hamesha
tumhare paas hoti hoon..." ..she said it with
a smile
Manik : "Han...but kisi ke samne nhi
aati...tumhe pata hain sab kya kehte hai...
"...by saying this he lay down in her lap..and
she just smile...
Nandini : "hmmm...kya kehte hai???..."
Manik : "yehe ki tum nahi ho...par tum toh
ho...see..tum yahin ho.."...he look straight
into her eyes...but she didn't said anything..
slowly slowly he lost in deep ocean like eyes and drifted
into sleep...seeing him sleeping peacefully...she kissed
his forehead...and made him rest putting some pillows
behind his head..and slowly kissed him ..which also
reciprocate even in sleep..after that sweet short
kiss...she came near his ears and said... "Good night
monster.."...with this she smile and walk towards the
door...
she stopped on the door look behind and her eyes was
teary...
Nandini : "Jaane do mujhe Manik..mat roko
mujhe..tumhara pyaar he hain jiski wajah se main
yahan hoon...yeh kudrat ke niyaam ke khillaaf hai
Manik...mai tumhe dard nhi dena chahti thi...par
dekho...tumhe kitne dard mei akela kar gayi
hoon...mujhe jaana hoga Manik..mujhe jaana
hoga..."...with this she disappered...
and Manik woke up from his sleep and start
looking here and there ...but he found
nothing...he took out her photo
and reminisces her and her words " MUJHE
JAANA HOGA MANIK..."..
Manik : " tumhe kahin nhi jaane dunga
main...kahin nhin..."...with this he look at
her picture determinedly...
CABIR'S HOME
Cabir broke the hug and dhruv said...
Dhruv : "Wo tab nhin mana tha Cabir...wo
sab humari aankhon ke samne tha..."
Mukti : "hum sab wahin the..."
Navya : "aur nandini..."...words caught in
her throat..her eyes were moist
Aaliya : "hum kuch nahi kar pae..." she
cried...
Cabir : "Isliye Manik aaj tak sambhal nahi
paaya...kyunki...uski aankhon ke samne uski
nandini MAR GAYI..."
by this truth everyone was hurt...badly
hurt...
