Chapter - 23

Manik's Room :
Manik was sleeping in nandini's arms peacefully..his
face was placed in crook of her neck..his one hand
were on her belly..but she was awake..she was staring
at his charming face..which was shining now in her
arms..she very slowly..picked up the diary from the
side table of bed ..but she make sure that she doesn't
move a bit even..as a mere movement in her body can
break his sleep..which she don't want..and she start
reading the diary...
Every page of the diary depict his pain very clearly..that
how much alone he was..with what desperation he was
waiting for her..every word of the diary..made her heart
cry for her love Manik..she was only cursing
herself..that she wasn't there ...when he needed her
the most...she was supposed to shine for him..but he
was thrown back in the darkness and she wasn't able
to protect him ...
She flipped the pages and start reading..
Wo yaheeen hai,mere dil ko yakeen hai,
wo mere ehsaas mei basta hai,
mere uthti najar mei usi ka chehra dikhta hai,
wo ho samne ya ho najro se door,
wo banke khushboo meri saanson mei rehta hai...
Lakh keh le ye duniya,ki wo nahi hai yahan,
par mere dil ko uska intezar rehta hai...
Mere saaye mei bhi wo hota hai,
mere har alfaaz mei uska zikar rehta hai,
koi dekhe agar gor se mujhe,
toh he woh samjhega ki,
meri rooh ke saaye mei uska aks basta hai...
SHE LIVES IN MY SOUL...
After reading this poem..she wasn't able to hold her
tears back..a tear rolled down from corner of her eyes
and fell directly on manik's eyes..who was sleeping
very close to her...as soon as her tear drop fell on his
one eye..he opened his eyes..and raised his head a
little..and what he found was the last thing he wanna
see..HIS NANDINI IN TEARS...he quickly made her face
him..but her eyes were closed..they were still lying on
the bed..facing each other...he lifted her face with her
chin..and slowly kissed both her eyes and said...
Manik : "open your eyes nandini.."...his voice was so
lovable that it directly touched her soul...she very
slowly opened her eyes and looked deep in his
eyes..both were silent..as their eyes were talking...she
hugged him tightly and he hugged her more tightly in his
embrace..he slowly entangled his legs with hers and
they both stayed there just like this for a very long
time..
After sometime..Manik realized that Nandini is in no
mood to broke the hug..so he start rubbing her back..as
he very well knows..that she is in pain after reading his
diary..he said..
Manik : "humara bad phase..khatam ho chuka hai..we
had shed zillions of tears in these 2 years..now..i don't
want you to shed even a single drop..let's just be in
present..and the matter of fact is..we are together..hai
na.."...he said very lovingly as if he is consoling a 2
year kid...and she broke the hug and put her palm on
his cheek ..he held the back side of her palm...
Nandini : "tumhe yakeen tha..that am live..."...now this
was the first time..she was asking this question to
him..and he after wearing a beautiful smile on his
face..is going to answer all her questions..
Manik : he kissed her palm and entwined her other hand
with his other one..."han..mujhe yakeen tha..because
my heart beat were running..my every breath was the
prove that you are in this world only.."..he said with a
smile..on which she gave him a pale smile and said...
Nandini : "itna pyaar kese karlete ho tum..."...she asked
in a painful tone and moved out of his grip and went
towards the window and stand there ...facing her back
to him..he sat down on his bed and was looking
towards nandini...he thought for a while that what he
should do..to console her..after a while..he brought out
his guitar and start moving towards her...

(he moved towards her while singing and tuning his
guitar..she doesn't looked back..just when he reached
her..he saw her eyes were teary..he made her turn to
his side and raised her face by holding her chin..and
then kissed her forehead..he put down his guitar in the
side..)

(he picked her one tear from her cheeks in his finger
and placed it on his eyes lashes and she was looking at
him in disbelief..as how can someone love this
much..he kissed her both eyes.,.she closed her eyes..)
Tu har ghadi har waqt mere saath raha hai
Haan yeh jism kabhi door kabhi paas raha hai
Jo bhi ghum hain yeh tere unhein tu mera pataa de..
(he sang every line..making her assure..that she was
always with him..although they were far far away..but
their soul..that was connected..he noticed her pale
face..he forwarded his palm in front of her ..as asking
her to give him her pains..and in return..she kissed on
his palm..)

(when she raised her head to look at him..he saw her
eyes were teary and he quickly wiped all those tears
and nodded a "no" to her..he picked her up in his arms
and placed her on the bed...)

(he hovered on her and both were staring at each
other's eyes..his eyes were pleading to her..to remove
the pain from her face..he sang the song with galore of
love in his voice..and now..she can see the pain in his
eyes as well..she quickly encircled her hands around
his neck and gave a much needed smile..which directly
touched his soul...)

(his face light up in joy after seeing the smile on her
face..and he knows..that he is successful in making
her calm down..he just hugged her tight..and she also
requited back..she was beneath him..she kissed his
shoulder and he lay next to her holding her in his arms
and they cuddled each other..)
Nandini's Room :
Through out the day..they both were together..Nandini
wanted the diary to take away with her..but manik
knew that diary which has those 2 years inside it..will
definetly make her cry..and he just can't afford it..so he
made her understand somehow that past is past..and
let it be there only..they have to make there future..and
live in this beautiful present..and she like a obedient
baby..agreed so after sometime in night..Manik
dropped her at her place..
Nandini was sitting on the bed.. holding a pillow in her
lap..
Nandini : "manik was right..hume apne kal ke baarei
mei sochna chahiye ..not about the past..i can't blame
myself..as it will be a accusation on manik's love..no..i
can't ..abse..no more past.."...and she smiled ...she
put her phone on her chin and said smilingly
..."mr.malhotra...i promise..i'll compensate all those
years..which you had gone through ...once we'll
marry..."...and she paused ..her eyes popped out with
the word "MARRY"...and she reminisced...that she
actually said yes to him..in her vulnerable said..she
suddenly get of her bed and said..while putting her
palm on her forehead..
Nandini : "oh..freak!..yeh maine kya kardiya..ab to wo
monster manik..definitely propose nahi karne
wala...ufffooo!..."..she said in a defeated tone...
Just then she heard door bell..and she knew who it
is..on the door..that too at this odd hour...so ..she
went downstairs..and when she opened the door..her
guess proved right..there HE is...
Manik : "hey what's up?.."..he said in his own style..on
which she gave him a frown ..he was confused at her
reaction..but his heart was jumping..as he get to know
HIS NANDINI is fine..she isn't crying..she isn't
sad..and he just came there to check this only...
Manik : "what?.."..he asked her..putting all his thoughts
in side..
Nandini : "yahan kyu aaye ho?.."..she asked..giving him
frowns...
Manik : "hide n seek khelne..actually..ghar par akela
tha ..so socha game khel lu..so aa gaya.."..he said in a
sarcastic way and she just stare at him in confusion...
Manik : "obviously tumse milne..stupid.."..he said
after patting on her head with his four fingers..
Nandini : she just made her lips in O shape and then
said "mil liya ...ab jao.."..and she closed the door on
his face..before he could say anything..
Manik : "bari ajeeb hai..subah se..ek min ke lie bhi meri
baaho se door nahi ja rahi thi..now she shut the
door..and that too on my face..hua kya ise
achanak?.."..he was confused with her reaction ..he
forwarded his hand to bell the ring again but then
stopped in mid way..he bite his lips and then stare at
the door for some minutes..and then left out from
there...
Nandini's room :
It's morning..Nandini was standing in front of the
mirror..combing her hairs..just then her phone
beeps..there was a message from manik..
Message : "good morning miss. moorthy...i hope aaj ka
temperature normal hai..as last night was a bit
stormy..(wink emotion).."..and she smiled ..as how
easily he neglected her rude behavior..she continued
with the reading .." ok..so meet me in SPACE ..am
already there..so not able to pick u up..and yes..no
need to come alone..i had send the driver with my
car..so you better come in it only.."..she smiled but
then gave a frown as she thought she can go alone
too..then continued with reading ahead .."stop
frowning..i know..i know..u r a big girl..and u r very
strong..and who knows this better than me..who
himself got your punch..that too twice..(wink
emotion).."..she smiled at this ..."but for a
change..listen to me..and come soon..am
waiting..love..manik..".,..she caressed his name on her
phone screen and then murmured with a smile
"MONSTER MANIK"..
She obeyed manik's words..and reached space
academy..the place..where she got the meaning to her
life..the place..where she got HER MANIK..the place
where she got HER FAMILY...the place which only had
gave n gave n gave to her...
The whole college was full of students all around..just
when she stepped inside the gate of SPACE
ACADEMY..a girl approached her and gave a red rose
to her...on which nandini gave a confusing look to
her..but before she could ask anything to her..she
heard the most beautiful voice..HER MANIK'S VOICE...
Manik : "take it..it's just a mere start"...she start
looking here n there..but then the girl made her look to
the speakers..and she realizes that MANIK is speaking
through Manik..she took the flower from the girl..and
start walking..the every step she take..somebody
comes to her and gave a red rose...
Now she was standing inside the SPACE..and her
hands were full of red roses..she was looking
ethereal..as the red roses in her hand ..was nothing in
front of her beauty..she was wearing a very beautiful
red long kurti..with cream colour leggies..her long hairs
were open till her waist..just like HE LOVES...her face
was glowing..every student was looking at her with a
smile..
Nandini : she looked all around and then said "kahan ho
tum manik.."..she had murmured to herself..but HE
may listened this..and again she heard HIS voice..
Manik : "am right inside you.."..his voice shows the
passion...she start blushing and again the voice..
"enough of this hide n seek..now..come to the
place..which connected us..for the very first
time.."...he gave her a hint and she need to decode it,...
Nandini : "connected us?..in SPACE?..but it was
highway na..where we met for first.."..she tried to link
up the links and yes she was successful in it.."i got it..i
know..where you are.."..and she start running towards
the place..
She was running..and in some seconds..she reached
THERE..and the place was AUDITORIUM...because..for
the first time..she saw MANIK'S face over there
only..where Navya by mistaken broke his favorite
guitar..
When she opened the gate of auditorium..what she
found..made her stunned..her breath caught into her
throat..she was smiling like a maniac..her eyes were
teary..and then she his voice again..
Meri najro se dekhogi toh janogi,
ruk gai thi dhadkan meri,jab yeh najre tumse mili thi,
naa socha tha kabhi,esa bhi hoga,
jise sataya tha be-intenhaa,usse mujhe kabhi be-panah
mohabbat bhi hogi,
socha na tha ki,meri saanson mei tum kuch yuh bas jaogi,
ki meri parchai mei bhi bas tumhi najar aaogi...
Tears were rolling down from her eyes..but her smile
wasn't vanishing away..his words filled her head with
content...
