Chapter 24

I woke up the next morning, and Will was not beside me. I sat up sand rubbed my eyes tiredly. My clothes were still scattered all over the floor, and I blushed. The events of last night came flooding into my head, and I pushed them away. I quickly put on my clothes, and walked to Cecily's room, hoping that she would still be asleep.

She wasn't. She was sitting on her bed, smirking at me, with her arms crossed. Oh no, I thought.

"Where did you go last night?" Cecily asked.

"Will asked me to come sleep with him." I said truthfully.

Her smirked widened. "And did you?..."

"No, but we came close. Closer than all of the the other times." I sighed.

"How close?" She raised an eyebrow.

"Both our shirts were off, and his pants were off." I said, slightly embarrassed.

Cecily gasped. "That's so close."

"I know right." I said.

"Why'd you stop?" She asked with a smirk.

"He said he wanted me to be sure. To be honest, I was sure the first time." I admitted.

"Ew okay, that's enough." She said. "Let's get changed."

We both brushed our teeth, and hair, and got changed. We both walked downstairs and into the dining room. Her parents, and Will sat at the table. I took a seat across from Will, and I snuck a glance at him. He was smirking at me, very widely.

"Hello girls, how was your sleep?" Linette said.

"Good." Cecily said.

I almost choked on my food. Yeah it great, I almost had sex with your son, and not for the first time. I was pretty sure that, that wouldn't sound good.

"It was good." I said while smiling at her.

I then looked at Will, and he had a bigger smirk on his face than before. I blushed furiously, and took a sip of my water.

"Oh Tessa," Linette started. "That bruise on your neck has gotten darker."

I froze. I slowly put the glass of water down, and just stared at her. That's when Will piped up.

"That's my fault." He started, and my head snapped toward him. "Tessa, Cecy, and I were playing with a ball downstairs. I accidentally hit Tessa in the neck with it."

It was the stupidest answer, but Linette just said oh and nodded her head. I sighed in relief, and Will winked at me. Breakfast ended soon after, and Edmund and Linette went into the kitchen. Cecily, Will, and I were left alone.

"Good morning, Tessa." Will smirked.

"Good morning." I replied.

His blue eyes twinkled in amusement. God, he was beautiful.

"How did you sleep?" He asked.

"Good, what about you?" I smirked.

"Very well." Will smirked.

He then stared at me, and then his words came into my mind. "I promise I'll make love to you soon, Tessa." I looked at Will again, and I could tell that he was thinking of the same thing.

"You know, you said once that you weren't good at keeping promises, if I recall correctly." I said.

Will smirked. "I can assure you, that I'll keep this one."

"Oh I don't know," I started. "Maybe by then I won't want you to keep your promise."

His eyes widened. "What are you trying to say?"
