The words rang in my head as Paul wrapped an arm around me and lead me to the cave.
"Mia... You don't have to be afraid," Paul whispered in my ear.
"Paul, don't scare her," Dwayne joked. I looked at David, who was paying no attention to us. Marko then walked over.
"Don't be afraid, Mia." Marko said calmly.
"Thanks," I said, sarcastically. "But I'm not afraid."
