*Mia's POV*
"Mia!" Laddie called, shaking me.
"What?" I asked, sleepy.
"We're going to the boardwalk! Cmon!" He replied, happily. I sighed.
That's all we ever do...
---
"Okay, Mia. I know you hate it in here, but please! Please please please, can we go into the comic book store?" Laddie begged, innocently. I sighed.
"Don't beg. You know I'll give in," I smiled.
"Yay!" Laddie cheered, running into the store. I walked in slowly, following Laddie.
Again, instantly, the Frog brothers stared at me. I continued to follow Laddie, hoping they wouldn't do anything.
"Hey," The darker haired one said. Alan Frog.
"Hi..." I said, awkwardly, picking up a random comic book.
"If I remember right, you're Mia?" Edgar asked, trying to be intimidating.
"Yeah," I said, grabbing Laddie's hand.
"Why are you always in such a hurry?" Edgar asked, stopping me from walking out the door. I turned to him.
"Because," was all I said, before Alan spoke up.
"You got a problem with us?" Alan asked.
"No, I just don't like people." I lied.
"Cmon Laddie," I walked out of the store with Laddie.
---
I walked down the boardwalk, away from Star and Laddie.
As I was walking, someone bumped into me.
"Oh, sorry." They apologized.
"Its fine," I said, looking at him.
"Um... I'm Sam," the boy introduced himself.
"Mia," I smiled.
"So... You here by yourself?" Sam asked.
"Well, no. I'm with a couple of friends. I just have to find them." I said.
"Oh, yeah. My brother wandered off." He said. He laughed a little, then continued.
"He was following some girl."
I didn't respond, and it was silent for a little while.
"Well," I broke the silence. "I should probably go find Star. I mean, my friend. You don't know her."
"Oh, yeah. I should find Mike." Sam said, before walking off.
He seems nice...
---
How was this chapter? I don't want this story to go along with the movie. But now that I've brought Sam and Michael into it, I don't know. I'll probably make up my own story line.
Have a nice day!
Oh, and.... Happy freaking birthday to my baby, River! I miss him so much :(
