*Mia's POV*
"That's not gonna happen." Edgar said, turning away. I looked at Alan, who then looked towards Edgar.
"Please? I want to know. I promise I won't tell anyone," I practically begged, knowing I'd brake that promise.
"No," Edgar didn't even look at me.
"Okay. If you tell me.... I'll help you guys. I'll help you guys do whatever it is you do. Just tell me what you do in your free time." I offered.
"I told you. We hunt," Edgar glared.
"Hunt what? Bad guys?" I asked, sarcastically.
"In a way," this time Alan said, making me look at them, confused.
"Wait," I started. "You hunt bad guys? What are you? Superheroes?"
"You could day that. I'm sure we've saved your life by doing what we do. So yeah. Superheroes." Edgar said, smiling sarcastically. I rolled my eyes.
"Yeah, and what's your 'superhero' name?" I asked.
"We don't have one. We like to go.... Unnoticed..." Alan said.
"Well, can I be a superhero with you guys?" I asked. This better be damn important to David.
"Why?" Edgar asked.
"I have nothing better to do," I said, simply. Edgar and Alan looked at each other for a minute.
"Okay."
