Blake P.O.V.

I sat on her bed watching every movement that she made. She walked around the room, doing random things just to keep from making eye contact with me.

She failed.

She looked up and I couldn't help the smirk that made its way across my face when she started to blush.

"Let's go get some dinner." She quickly said to me. I jumped up off her bed and grabbed my phone, sliding it into my pocket on my basket ball shorts.

I had been at Casey's house all night and it was now about 11. We had yet to eat. I knew Casey could cook and I could also cook but I could tell she didn't want to and frankly I didn't either.

She followed me out of the room. She looked beautiful with her damp hair that had yet to dry from her shower. She was wearing pajamas, a tank top with a sweater over it and black leggings. Damn that ass looked good in leggings.

We ended up going to McDonalds and sat in the play place area. Even though it was late at night, the place was still busy and we went there to be alone.

"So Casey," I started causing her to look up at me from her McFlurry.
"Are you okay, after what happened the other night."

She tensed up a little bit but relaxed again before answering me, "honestly? No, I'm not. I lost my best friend, my boyfriend and the only family I really had in the matter of 10 seconds. When I opened the door that night and you were there, I thought things were going to be worse.

I was wrong Blake, so so very wrong. You let me cry that night, you didn't judge me, you took me to the park, you stayed when I needed someone instead of running from me. I'm just a girl with fucked up emotions. Why are you here anyway?"

She asked with genuine curiosity. I reached across the table and grabbed her hands in my own and looked her in the eyes.

"I'm here because no matter what has happened in the past, I'm always going to be here Casey. I've known you all your life, you're the person that knows my secrets, can point out my flaws and then tease me about them without feeling like an ass. You make me happy. I am always going to be here Casey. I promise."

She looked up at me, her cheeks were wet and her eyes were a little red from the tears.

"Here I am crying," she started to say, "see I told you about my stupid emotions. Thank you Blake, you're all I have now. But you can leave anytime. I can do for myself. I don't need anyone."

She stared to cry again. I stood up and she followed me and we walked out of the building. I pulled her next to the wall and wiped the tears from under her eyes causing her to look at me.

"You do need someone. I'll be that someone." The I leaned down and planted a small kiss on her lips heifer taking ahold of her hand and walking to the car.

Once in the car she stayed silent and looked out the window. She looked so beautiful and innocent.

This girl will be the death of me.

~~2 WEEKS LATER~~
I had spent everyday since I came home with Casey.

Tomorrow was Christmas Eve and I was at the store with Jona looking for a present. Then I spotted a case that held charms in it.

I remembered the charm bracelet I gave her when she turned 8. She was 15 when I left and now she was 17, I never gave her the two charms for the time I was gone.

Since her birthday was less then a month away I bought 3 charms.

The first one was a key. It looked just like the necklace she had always worn.
