We have read in the previous chapter entitled "Competition" that it is good to write shorter stories because we could get more reads.
The length should not be too long and not too short. Based on my experience when writing a story it's good to keep it between 300-600 words per chapter. Just make sure you have a niche on every page so that the reader could easily understand the message of the story.
A year ago, I used to write a story with 2000 words per chapter, a total of 11 chapters, only 375 read till now. I have also written a vocabulary game containing 20-100 words per chapter, a total of 50 chapters. It's too short per chapter that no one understood and wanted to read them. I've also written a how-to book just last month. It contains 300-600 words per chapter and I get 30-60 reads per day. It has more reads than the book I have written a year ago. Imagine? A month of work could be better than a year of work if you apply this guide.
Remember to keep it short but not too short.
