Being Pessimistic is not that bad. In writing stories and sharing ideas, I am very optimistic but when it comes to networking business or gambling, I am very pessimistic.
Pessimists can live longer because they will always play safe.
They can have durable relationships with the people around them.

Last but not the least, being pessimistic can help you become a better gambler. Why? My parent's love casino and bingo. They are very optimistic when they play. They always say, I will win. When, I am with them, sometimes they give me 50 or 100 so I can play. When I play, I am pessimistic. Lower my bet because I am expecting to lose. If I win, any good amount. I stop because I am thinking that I will lose if I continue.
Being pessimistic is not bad. Sometimes, it is good.
