I go to the beach.
-You can't be here.
A girl with brown eyes and hair stares at me.
-Oh.
-Hold up, you're that Will guy Noah talks about.
I look at her. -Emma the chick?
She stares at me confused. -Emma the what?- she sighs and waves it off with her hand. -Never mind.
-How did you met Noah?
-He was walking and then slept in here.
I laugh and she smiles slightly.
-Oh c'mon, I ain't gonna bite.
She sighs in relief.
-Or maybe I am.- And I growl playfully.
She smiles. -You are quite silly.
I shrug.- Get that a lot.
We stay there quiet and I ask her about Noah.
-You like him?- I raise my eyebrow.
-Well, I didn't kissed him for other reason.-She covers her mouth. -Uh, oops.
I gasp. -You kissed him?
-He asked if I had my first kiss-
-Aww, it was your first kiss. How cute.
-Shut up. Now you're annoying.
-What are you doing here?
Emma stares at me.- I could ask you the same.
-Yeah, but I asked first.
She sighs. -I am like the protector of this beach.-
-So you take care of this beach?
-Yes...-
I stare at her and she waits for me to say that's stupid or lame. But no. - That. Is so. Awesome.
-Really? People usually say it's lame. Even I sometimes think that.
-No, no, no. It's really... COOL- The word cool echoes.
She smiles and pokes me. -You're kinda cute.
-No. No, no, no. I am not.-I back off.
She smiles.
-If you're going to poke me or say I'm cute, don't.
----------------------------------------------I run away from Emma.
She shouts.-We're not playing "you're it."
I stop running and turn around confused.-We're playing "you're it"?
-You idiot-
I smile.
-Hey, you have dimples.-Emma smiles.
I stay quiet.
-You know what that means?
Don't say anything.
-You are cute. Can I poke your cheeks?
-No, not really. Also, stop looking at me like that.
-Why?
-Because that's not how friends stare at each other.
-Woah, we are friends?- She said amused.
-Yeah?
-Man, that's awesome.-She said happily.-No, but seriously, stop looking at me like that.
-Like what?
-Like you want to kiss me.- I said half playfully, half casually.
-Woah man, calm down. I'll just stare at the sea then, okay?
I laugh. Then I asked: -Do you really like Noah?
-Yes. But I don't think he likes me.
-Would you like me to ask him?
-I thought he hated you.
I smile. -He kind of does, but I still can give it a try.
-Will you actually do that?
I shrug.- Sure.- I stand up and cover my yawn with the back of my hand. -Well, I'll see you tomorrow.
-Oh, sure. Bye- She waves her hand, and I wave back.
----------------------------------------------
-Hey, Noah.
He was talking to a guy with brown hair and pale green eyes.
He turns his head. -Huh?
I grab him by the wrist and pull him.
-Why, are you jealous?- He says with a smirk.
I roll my eyes and answer yes sarcastically. I turn to him and:
-Emma likes you.- I say bluntly.
He nods wittingly. -I know.
-And how about you?
-Oh, I also like her. But I don't want her to ruin our relationship.
We laugh.
-You know, maybe I can be the lover.- I say, wiggling my eyebrows playfully.
