3rd Installment in the You've Proved It mini series.

"Hey mommy, can I ask you and my new mommie a qwestion?" I cooed at Lauren's son Ricky, who was cuddled up into Lauren and I, along with his baby sister Abigail.
They'd all (including Lauren) convinced me to watch The Toothfairy with them, and although I did see the movie once before, it was a bit cliche for my tastes, but anything for my new family.
"Sure. What is it baby?" My attention diverted to Abigail, who was pressed against my side sleep, and I turned my attention back to the movie until Ricky asked his question.
"Why were you yelling at our new mommie last night? Was she upsetting you? And why were you yelling at mommy Y/N?" Lauren and I simultaneously looked at each other, shock written in both our eyes.
While yes, we weren't the quietest people in bed, I could've sworn this little booger was sound asleep.
Flashback
"Twenty minutes after Lauren and I left my house, I pulled up to her apartment and was sort of mortified by what I saw.
The dingy looking apartment had abandoned buildings surrounding it, hobos and homeless people scattered around it, and honestly looked horrific.
"T-this is where you and your kids live?" She nodded her head weakly and jumped out of the car before I could even respond. I quickly followed suit and wrapped my arms around her waist, glaring at the old creepy ass men that looked her up and down like a piece of meat.
"What are you doing?" Even though she questioned my actions, she didn't hesitate to cuddle into my side as the old perverts stared her down.
"Protecting you from those pervs. Look, I'm not trying to dog your place or neighbors for that matter, but you shouldn't be here. You need to come back with me. I'll take care of you and your kids, only if you'll except me. Don't think of it as charity. Think of it as moving in with your lover turned girlfriend. Please?"
I had her pressed against the wall of next to her door and had her gasping for air as my lips pressed to her neck.
"I-I d-don't wanna b-burden you". I groaned onto her neck and pulled her back of the dirty wall.
"It isn't charity if we're dating. Is it?" She shook her head and before she could interject, I crashed our lips together in a passionate kiss.
"Just say yes, and I'll make you the happiest woman alive. I'll give you anything you and your kids hearts desire. You can have it all babe. You aren't just another screwed up one night stand. I genuinely care for you and I really want you and your kids in my life. If you don't, at least let me get you out of this, I mean-"
I gasped as Lauren took the initiative and ended my seemingly endless rant with her lips. They moved in synch as she threaded her fingers in my hair and tilted her head, deepening the kiss.
"Okay okay, just shut up. Even though it's really cute when you ramble". I playfully rolled my eyes and shrieked when a rat ran across the floor next to me.
"Hurry, we gotta get the hell out of here!" Lauren giggled as I pushed her through the now open door and slammed the door shut.
"Kids come here! There's someone here I think you'll wanna meet!" The tiny little pitter patter of feet filled my earshot, and I smiled warmly at the sight I saw in-front of me.
Lauren's son and daughter ran up to her and jumped into her open arms, obviously thrilled to see their busy mother.
"We missed you mommy! Hey, who's that?" Her son pointed at me, and by now, all of the Jauregui family had all eyes on me.
