A month had passed, and Lauren Jauregui woke at her usual time of six a.m. in the morning for her usual daily run. It was a routine Lauren had perfected since she turned seventeen and wanted to make her image a bit better. In the three year time span, she managed to shed enough weight to be pleased with herself, but not enough to appear stressed or anorexic. Mr. and Mrs. Y/L/N had given Lauren a wonderful tour of the city and great statements to use for her story. The only person refusing to cooperate was Y/N, who managed to avoid Lauren and her parents for a few weeks. Even the butlers and maids we're easier to associate with; and they barely spoke English.

Taking a small, rejuvenating shower woke her from the slumber she was engrossed in, and bought about the pleasant vibes she wanted to surround herself with. She casually rummaged through her sports wear, deciding and changing her mind like a kid in the toy store.

Settling on a white Nike sports bra, a pair of red Nike leggings, a pair of all black Rosche runners, and a white and red jacket with black stripes finishing it, she deemed that she looked decent enough to be seen in public and grabbed a white baseball cap that displayed the letters ‘HOT SAUCE' on it in bold, black letters. It was a present from her friend Dinah Jane back home and was sort of a good luck piece for the green eyed girl.

Making her way towards the huge expanse of the house for her run, she realized her camera was still upstairs charging on its tripod. Not wanting to make the long turn back towards the winding corridor, she let out a rather long puff of air and decided she'd cut the walk back from part of her run. She didn't want to be exasperated by the time she finished running.

Grabbing the Nikon (insert official name) she loved so much, Lauren double checked over everything she thought she'd need and sighed in relief as she finally headed down the stairs and into the impressively sized kitchen.

Decorated with laminate flooring that matched the cream white tiling on the walls, Lauren came to the realization that she hadn't been in the kitchen at all since she'd been at the Y/L/N estate. A huge, gold, chandelier hung from the ceiling, bringing a soft aroma to the empty dining room. A few more steps bought her inside the full kitchen, which didn't fail to surprise Lauren. It was stocked with various kinds of aged wines, cheeses, and some fancy looking breads Lauren didn't even know existed until she stepped foot into the kitchen.

Taking a few pictures to go with the article, Lauren decided that more senseless pictures could wait. The fridge, Lauren discovered was full of more ‘everyday' foods, though they were all technically name brands.

Taking a bottle of Fiji water and a whole grained muffin from the counter, Lauren exited the house, excited to explore more of the small town before fully committing to her exercise regimen.

“Arcata, California. Full of trees and crystal clear lakes. There's an assortment of fish and tadpole here. There's almost a bait shop on every corner and the suns always shining. Perfect tourist attraction." Lauren recorded into her iPhone, saving the verbal memo for future references.

About ten minutes later, Lauren as jogging at a steady pace around the city, stopping every few minutes to take a picture if something that interested her. Jogging along Arcata Central Boardwalk was a bit hectic, but oh so worth it. There were so many options available for Lauren to capture a beautiful image of the scenery that surrounded her. She'd even been so lucky as to get a few people to let her take pictures of them.

Could this day possibly turn bad?

As Lauren adjusted her camera lens to take a picture of the adjacent side of the boardwalk, she felt another body almost twice as strong as her collide with hers, and thanks to the force of the impact, her camera lens snapped, sending Lauren's camera flying into the bay. She would've gone over the railing too had it not been for a pair of strong arms tightly securing themselves around her. Lauren figured the person who'd crashed into her was probably the person that caught her, and as surprisingly safe as she found herself inside the strangers arms, she was pissed as hell. That was a $750 camera.
