~Daryl's P.O.V~

We had been running for quite sometime. I couldn't keep track of the days, I never did. I just went along. We kept going, the only thing that kept me going was Haley. I knew she was alive, she had to be. And I had go find her. I promised myself and to her I would never leave her again, and look what happened. But I only did it to protect her. Although I'm an idiot I should've kept her by my side. We stopped when we found a small house. We emptied it and just sat inside to rest up. I sat on the floor with my knees up to my chest and my elbows resting on my knees. She folded her legs back and sat down. We stayed in silence until she finally spoke

"Do you wanna talk about it?" She asked

I didn't say a word I knew who she was talking about

"I didn't see her, I only saw her get on the bus, then get out"

My eyes shot up at her

"What?" I finally spoke with my voice raspy

"I saw her. She got off the bus with Glenn. Then afterwards I lost them"

"You didn't see where she went?" I asked

She shook her head "Do you think she's alive?"

"Do you think Maggie is alive?" I asked still looking at her

"Yes" She simply answered "I have to have faith, because if I lose my faith. Then I have nothing left. So I have to hold onto it"

I nodded slowly. I finally spoke up. And for the first time I opened up

"I feel like I have this hole in my chest. And if I never find her, or she dead. Then I will completely lose myself. The hole will just take over, I can't live without her Beth. I gotta find her"

Tears wanted to arise but I held them back. She looked at me for awhile before nodding

"We will"

A smile formed on her face. I just wanted to curl up into a ball and cry. But Daryl Dixon don't do that

The man with the beard just chuckled "Looks like you guys need a ride. Hope in the back you can come with us"

"Like hell. We don't know you" I hissed

"Come on you have no where to go" The girl with short shorts said

I scoffed "We won't going anywhere with you. We don't know you, so hell no"

"Come on just get in the truck" The other man said

The man with the beard walked but I didn't keep my eye on him

"I said like hell. We ain't going anywhere with-"

Before I could finish the sentence I felt a hard hit on my forehead and I blacked out.

I slowly opened my eyes to feel moving. I quickly noticed I was in a truck, moving. I felt a pair of hands touch my shoulder

"Tara?" I asked. I groaned in pain when I felt a big gash over my forehead. I touched the side and felt a little blood but I knew I had more. Must have been dry blood. It hurt so much.

"Here drink this" She said grabbing a water bottle and handing it to me

I sat up slowly and groaned in pain. I grabbed the water when Glenn began waking up too. Tara gave him water and he seemed just as confused as us. I leaned my head back and slightly touched my wound

"Ugh that's asshole knocked me out"

I slapped the window "Stop the damn truck!" I tried yelling but I wasn't so successful

I began panting because I was weak mainly because of when the guy knocked me out. I don't think we're gonna be great friends. All of a sudden the truck stopped. I didn't have that much strength to get up. Tara did though. She was going to kill the walkers that was against the back door but someone else told her not to. She got down instead and all I could were snarling and banging. Then everything fell silent and all I heard was talking.

"We've got to get out of here" I whispered

"How can we?" Glenn asked

"We don't need their help, we can manage on our own. What if they are going the complete opposite way we were going? Farther then Maggie and Daryl"

He shut his eyes for a second before nodding. Glenn asked Tara if we had passed a bus along the way. We did. And they were all dead. No, no way Maggie could have been on that bus. Tara told us their names were Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene. Glenn began knocking on the little window demanding them to stop the bus. The man with the beard just flicked us off. Asshole, that was a very wrong move. We all began pounding on the back of the truck

"Stop the damn truck!" We yelled

I grabbed a gun and began hitting the window with the back of the gun. I kept hitting it until I finally cracked the window and the truck came to a harsh stop. They all got out of the truck angry as hell. But I didn't care. We got down from the truck and grabbed our things

"Where the hell are you going?" Abraham asked

We didn't answer but me and Glenn grabbed our things and began walking

"We're leaving, and you can't stop us" I said

He stopped in front of us which made us stop for a second

"We are on a very important mission, don't you see that? We need people. The more the better, do you understand that. Even with all that gear on your shoulder you wouldn't even last a day, not by yourself" He said

"We'll manage" Glenn said

"I'm gonna insist that you hold the hell up" Abraham said stopping us once again

Ok this is pissing me off

"Believe it or not the entire human race might depend on it" He said

We both stared down at him

"What the hell are you talking about?" I asked

"We're on a mission to take Eugene to Washington D.C. He's a scientist, and he knows exactly what caused this mess"

Bullshit
