Thoughts drifted among my mind as I ran, trying to keep up with Newt, but I staggered behind.
I can't do this anymore.
I grabbed onto the vines guiding the walls, they were strong enough to hold my weight; luckily Newt still thought I was right behind him.
I climbed my way to the top and looked down. So this is how I'll end it.
Right here, right now. My life will soon be just a faded memory, and it'll end with a flash.
One simple moment, I'm standing on the highest peak in the glade, and the next moment, I'll be gone.
That's how fragile life is.
