Turns out Elf goes to that fancy art school an hour away from H.L.A.

The Jacques Stripper's School for the Arts.

JSSA or, as I prefer to call it, The Jacques Strap.

Her and her artsy buddies agreed to be the source of entertainment for my party.

"Did the band agree?"

"With the amount of money you offered? They couldn't resist!"

"You and the dancers rehearsed?"

"Yep! Well, right now were taking a fifteen minute break. We're doing a dance that we did as a class project so - "

"Hey, Elf?"

"Yeah?"

"I don't care."

"Right."

She skipped away immediately after that.

Things, at the moment, are pretty hectic.

I don't have nearly enough hands.

Ever since Elf and her fellow dancers left to go rehearse, it's only been me, my mom, and my aunt.

I can't call Jamie, for obvious reasons.

I texted Kayla, Kacie, and Ana, who said they were on their way.

That was 45 minutes ago.

I can't call The Ditzy Twins. I made that mistake sophomore year.

Let's just say someone got wrapped up in streamers and cake was where cake should never be.

Don't ask.

It was a nightmare.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket and took a glance at the clock:

4:15.

Less than 5 hours until show time.

I need some more people here.

Scrolling through my contacts I came across an unfamiliar name.

Anton.

Who the heck is Anton?

Anton.

Anton.

Anton.

I clicked on his name and I almost face palmed myself when I saw the nickname that I had put on his profile:

Physics Tutor

I immediately dialed his number.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Anton. I'm so sorry but I'm not going to be able to come to the tutoring session."

"Wow. I can't believe I spent all this time preparing for our session..."

"It'll happen eventually." An idea suddenly popped into my head, "But, I actually need a favor."

"So, you stand me up but you still want me to do something for you?" I could hear the amusement in his voice.

"Exactly."

He chuckled, "What do you need?"

"I'm throwing a party tonight and it's very last minute. I don't have enough hands and I could really use your help setting up."

Please be a nerd with no plans. Please be a nerd with no plans.

"Well, it's not like I have anything better to do. Sure, I can help you out."
