Selena was shocked to see Nick standing in front of her, meeting her parents. He just saved her from marriage with what he just said. Well, let’s hope he did. Nick turned so he was facing her. He took her hand and winked at her, causing her to blush a little.

They all moved onto the sofas and Nick was sat with Selena, his hand around hers, their fingers entwined. Selena watched as her father and Nick had a mini-stare down. Her father wasn’t impressed with Nick and Selena could see that Nick wasn’t too fond of him either.

“So Nick, what do you work as?” Her father finally asked and Selena rolled her eyes. He always asks this question first. Straight down to being the annoying father.

“Well I work as a manager of a firm which buys and sells art.” Nick told him and just as her father was about to talk, Nick continued, “But there is an opening at a business firm, the manager spot is open and I might take it.” Nick told him.

“So, tell me Nicholas. How will you go from being an art seller to a manager of a business firm?” Her father asked, a smug smirk dying to form on his lips.

“Well I studied Business in college and worked for my dad when I was in high school. He is the owner of Jonas Enterprise. You might know him.” Nick smiled innocently, though Selena knew he felt proud at wiping the smirk from her father’s face. Not many people could do that.

“Yes, I know Mr Jonas very well.” Selena’s father mumbled, his dark brown eyes now sparking up with anger.  Jonas Enterprise was well known around the whole of L.A, even Selena’s father owned some of his products.

Nick nodded and then looked at his watch. He turned to Selena with fake surprise. “Selena sweetie, we’re going to miss our reservations at Daniel’s if we don’t hurry.” He told her before turning to her parents.

Selena’s dad got the message and stood up. “We’ll see you tomorrow Selena.” Her father said before turning to Nick with a stare so cold even Selena shivered. “It was nice to meet you Nicholas.” And with that he turned and left. Selena’s mom muttered an apology to Nick before running off after her husband.

When the front door finally shut Selena flung herself onto Nick, her lips pressing feverishly onto his. Nick welcomed the kiss and wrapped his arms around her back, pushing her into him and relishing the feeling he had missed the last couple of days. When Selena pulled away she grinned at him. “You are my saviour.” She sighed in relief. “How did you know my parents were here though?” Selena asked him.

“Josh came round mine and filled me in. I was quite angry that you never answered my calls.” Nick admitted as his lips turned into a cute pout that made Selena kiss him quickly.

“I’m sorry; I didn’t want to drag you into all this.” Selena admitted, kissing his pout again. “I haven’t known you for that long and I didn’t want you to meet my parents, but thank you for coming anyway. You’re my hero.” She smiled, kissing him again, more hungrily, making Nick stir in his jeans. Selena giggled and sat on top of his erection, slowly grinding against it.

“Maybe you should show me how much of a hero I am.” Nick rasped, a smirk coming onto his lips.

Selena giggled and jumped up, taking his hand and pulling him off the sofa. “Time to christen my bed,” She grinned, leading him into her bedroom.
