~Selena's POV~

Conner was a blue eyed blonde haired tall muscular Jock, all the girls swooned over him too, but not as much as they did over James. He was the running-back on our football team, and a damn good one too. If football only required a great running-back without any other players we'd be undefeated.

Conner was probably thinking I wouldn't take him back. But he was my first love and I'm still not fully over him. I don't think I ever will be either. I'm not ready to give up on us just yet. I'll fight for what I love.

Even after all the drama that came with dating him last year, I'm willing to try this again. Hopefully things will be different and nobody will try to come in between us, or spread rumors saying one of us was cheating on the other. That just makes things difficult, but if there's one thing I learned from all that is you can't believe rumors. If you don't know for a fact and haven't witnessed it with your own eyes, then don't believe it

I was taking another risk by letting him back into my life but risk taking is something I did quite often. I'm convinced he's changed, we have been friends ever since we broke up and he has never once brung up the past and I respect him not doing that, maybe I can have one good thing in my life after all and it won't backfire for once.

I never really knew much about Conner, I never had the chance of getting to know him. Maybe this is my chance in finding happiness.

Before sending my answer that read "Yes I'll take you back," I stared at my phone and thought to myself....

Sometimes, you have to love like you'll never get hurt.

Then I sent the text. He immediately read it and sent me an emoji for his reply I felt the butterflies erupt in my stomach just like they use to. I sat down and clicked the call button, we ended up having a long chat for over an hour, I even missed out on dinner and it was pizza rolls!! I love pizza rolls but I told my mom I would be den after my call, my call lasted longer than planned so needless to say my dinner was cold by the time I got off the phone.
