Chapter 23- In which she has a not so normal awakening

Opening my eyes i focused my vision on the blindfolds and the rays of sunlight seeping through my balcony window. My eyesight traveled towards my nightstand I also noticed 15 new messages from James. Frantically reaching for my phone I unlocked it with my seven digit password and viewed his messages. The last one was "I'm coming over I'll be there in 5 I need your help with something." And that was twenty minutes ago.

Getting up I stretched then turned around towards the bathroom to get myself ready instead of looking like the grudge when I noticed a little brunette girl with blue eyes sitting in my floor staring at me. "Hi there cutie," I sang. Making my way towards the bathroom. Then stopping in my tracks as I realized there was a little kid in my room and I didn't recognize her. Turning around, I realized she was no longer there. I just shrugged it off and rubbed my eyes, grabbing clothes out of my dresser then going into the bathroom and closing the door, then getting towels ready so I could take a shower.

After a long relaxing shower I grabbed the towel off the sink and wrapped it around myself like a cocoon and tucking it in so it wouldn't fall off. Not even caring about the time, if James needed me bad enough he would call me repeatedly until I answered the phone. Then I towel dried my hair with the other one. Realizing I forgot my hair brush I unlocked the door and stepped out into my room, immediately I felt the cool breeze of my air conditioned room which sent chills up my arms. Quickly running through my cold room to my dresser and grabbing my hair brush I turned around to walk back into the bathroom, shutting my door on the way in.

Out of my peripheral vision I noticed a figure, turning around I noticed the little girl was standing in the bathroom next to the shower. Wide eyed we both screamed bloody murder as soon as we locked eyes. Opening the door to my room I ran into my room trying to catch my breath when the entrance to my room opened to reveal none other than James.

"Nice towel." He chuckled eyeing my flower printed towel. I just flipped him the bird, then opened the bathroom door to walk back in and change into my clothes I set out. The little girl walked out of my bathroom and hopped up onto my bed, staring at James.

I shut the door almost all the way but kept it cracked a bit so I could hear.

"And why are you in my house? And why is there also a 5 year old girl in my room?" I yelled through the door catching a glimpse of my face in the mirror anger was evident on my face. "And why do people tend to enter my house uninvited?"

"I texted you before I came over which was around two hours ago. And what do you mean people tend to enter your house uninvited? I thought I was the only one."

After my black shorts and blue shirt were on, and I was decent I hung my towels up and walked out of the bathroom, back into my room. Staring at the little girl coloring on my bed I looked towards James and mouthed one word, Conner.

Anger flashed on his face, and he scowled deeply. Reaching out for my hand he grabbed me and pulled me out of the room and into the hallway away from the little girls earshot.

"Okay tell me what happened." He crossed his arms, I was unable to decipher eat emotions he was currently feeling, but I knew one was anger. I explained to James exactly what happened last night from my ride home, to discovering the open window, and then to being pinned on the ground by Conner. By the time I was done he sounded like a sailor going off about Conner.
